hard to find comfortable social spaces to sit and linger on the property. bar is v small and access is managed and cafe is cleared during mealtimes. I found a space on 3rd floor on my last two days / be great to know this was there at bookin

the property is wonderful with outstanding and unusual original features tastefully integrated, well restored and maintained and decor is modern and chic

Nothing about the hotel it was perfect. However for tourists that want to see the french quarter it was about a 20 min walk away.

Lovely stay in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. Staff very helpful at all times.

    Honestly nothing

Hotel Peter & Paul was truest unique and so much thoughtful detail was put into design all around. The amazing little book put together that provided history, culture, culinary made you feel like you had visited a friend who took much time to give you a well rounded introduction to the New Orleans. The staff was so perky and pleasant they really made you feel like that were happy to have you. The Elysian Bar and Garden were the perfect place to have a great meal and cocktail after a long travel trip. Also the customs/ original blended hand soaps & lotions were amazing. I bought a bottle to take home & will use sparingly so that ever time I smell it I think of our wonderful trip.

Aesthetic attention of top quality; all the details in the rectory enhanced a feeling of thoughtful, unobtrusive consideration. I chose this spot because of EV charging for Tesla. The affiliated bar / cafe, called the Elysian, is run by Bacchanal Wine owners. Food, drink, and even the coffee was the best. Did yoga and pilates in the renovated church – hotel owners allow community to use the space, and hotel guests can join in any activities that are going on. Such a welcoming place!

Loved it all, wish we could have stayed longer and we stayed three nights already!

Beautifully designed boutique hotel with excellent staff, and incredible restaurant and bar. This hotel exceeded our expectations! it was lovely to stay in the Marigny area, only a short stroll away from the French Quarter.

the location was calm and very quiet in a lovely residential area. i liked the fact it was not right in the centre of New Orleans. It felt very special to be slightly off the beaten track

Best Vibes Away from French Quarter

Wish there was a little more of a lobby or inviting gathering space to hang in the main hotel. The vibe is so cool you just want to sit and soak it in.

Unique boutique hotel is located in a restored convent in the often overlooked Marigny neighborhood. Very eclectic and creative area of town. Frenchman Street, French Quarter, and Jackson Square are 10 to 15 minutes away - still easily walkable. Rooms come with regal vaulted ceilings and canopy beds, which are incredibly comfortable with great pillows. Enjoyed reading the curated books and local guides appointed to each room. The Elysian bar on site, which is technically next door, is a great place to grab a drink and start up a cool conversation. Can't say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of staff who make you feel like family. It's a different kind of New Orleans trip to stay outside the French Quarter, but ultimately one that more organically embraces the city and the incredible people who contribute to its spirit and call it home.

Not much. Very high level of service. We changed rooms as my wife didn't like the circular stair to the sleeping loft. Room 310.

We ate dinner in the restaurant. Wonderful ambiance and good food. Great bar! Could be noisy but use a white noise app on your phone- all good. Tour the old church if it's o p en - interesting history. We had a great ground floor room in the school. Very nice bathroom - room 107.

Gorgeous decor, meticulously clean rooms, whisper-quiet air conditioning, lovely, friendly staff; we didn't have time to try the free Pilates or the hotel's own ice-cream parlour but I wish we had! Great location too. What a beautiful place - we didn't want to leave.

it would be nice if they would offer breakfast; across the street is a Little restaurant but quite expensive.

The staff is great and the hotel is really, really beautiful in an old school/church, really nice renovated. The room and shower are amazing. They have umbrellas you can use and you will need them. 10 minute walk to French Quarters.

That we had to leave 😁

Such a peaceful place, beautifully furnished. Best sleeps of our 3 week trip. We arrived early and were going to store our bags but we were given an early check-in, which was much appreciated all the communication has been AMAZING, including tips about the area in the room. The bathroom was beautiful and great pressure in the shower, with lovely soap, shampoo etc supplied.

I made sure to ask for a room with a refrigerator...very important in the New Orleans heat to have cool drinks in your room.

This was my second stay. My first stay was right after covid restrictions were lifted and the staff wasn't the best. Now...the staff are top notch! Attentive and helpful. We were very happy with the front desk attendants and the bartenders. Everyone was fantastic. Beautiful rooms and comfy beds. We will come back!

My only complaints would be around sound proofing. I could hear as guests walked by and if people were talking in the hallway, but it definitely wouldn’t dissuade me from staying again.

The property is STUNNING! such a great restoration of the buildings and every little detail was thought of. The staff are so nice, the hotel was so well kept and smelled amazing and my room was just breathtaking. comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower and the toiletries actually smelled good.

What a delight to arrive at Peter and Paul. It was such a calm place from 5he moment we arrived from a heatwave outside into the cool serene interior. We stayed in a room in 5he convent which was comfortable and peaceful. Everyone there was lovely and the best thing? There was an ice cream parlour at the door!
