Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesHonestly nothing
Hotel Peter & Paul was truest unique and so much thoughtful detail was put into design all around. The amazing little book put together that provided history, culture, culinary made you feel like you had visited a friend who took much time to give you a well rounded introduction to the New Orleans. The staff was so perky and pleasant they really made you feel like that were happy to have you. The Elysian Bar and Garden were the perfect place to have a great meal and cocktail after a long travel trip. Also the customs/ original blended hand soaps & lotions were amazing. I bought a bottle to take home & will use sparingly so that ever time I smell it I think of our wonderful trip.

United StatesAesthetic attention of top quality; all the details in the rectory enhanced a feeling of thoughtful, unobtrusive consideration. I chose this spot because of EV charging for Tesla. The affiliated bar / cafe, called the Elysian, is run by Bacchanal Wine owners. Food, drink, and even the coffee was the best. Did yoga and pilates in the renovated church – hotel owners allow community to use the space, and hotel guests can join in any activities that are going on. Such a welcoming place!

Beautifully designed boutique hotel with excellent staff, and incredible restaurant and bar. This hotel exceeded our expectations! it was lovely to stay in the Marigny area, only a short stroll away from the French Quarter.

United StatesWish there was a little more of a lobby or inviting gathering space to hang in the main hotel. The vibe is so cool you just want to sit and soak it in.
Unique boutique hotel is located in a restored convent in the often overlooked Marigny neighborhood. Very eclectic and creative area of town. Frenchman Street, French Quarter, and Jackson Square are 10 to 15 minutes away - still easily walkable. Rooms come with regal vaulted ceilings and canopy beds, which are incredibly comfortable with great pillows. Enjoyed reading the curated books and local guides appointed to each room. The Elysian bar on site, which is technically next door, is a great place to grab a drink and start up a cool conversation. Can't say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of staff who make you feel like family. It's a different kind of New Orleans trip to stay outside the French Quarter, but ultimately one that more organically embraces the city and the incredible people who contribute to its spirit and call it home.

Such a peaceful place, beautifully furnished. Best sleeps of our 3 week trip. We arrived early and were going to store our bags but we were given an early check-in, which was much appreciated all the communication has been AMAZING, including tips about the area in the room. The bathroom was beautiful and great pressure in the shower, with lovely soap, shampoo etc supplied.

United StatesI made sure to ask for a room with a refrigerator...very important in the New Orleans heat to have cool drinks in your room.
This was my second stay. My first stay was right after covid restrictions were lifted and the staff wasn't the best. Now...the staff are top notch! Attentive and helpful. We were very happy with the front desk attendants and the bartenders. Everyone was fantastic. Beautiful rooms and comfy beds. We will come back!

United StatesMy only complaints would be around sound proofing. I could hear as guests walked by and if people were talking in the hallway, but it definitely wouldn’t dissuade me from staying again.

The staff are so nice, the hotel was so well kept and smelled amazing and my room was just breathtaking. comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower and the toiletries actually smelled good.

What a delight to arrive at Peter and Paul. It was such a calm place from 5he moment we arrived from a heatwave outside into the cool serene interior. We stayed in a room in 5he convent which was comfortable and peaceful. Everyone there was lovely and the best thing? There was an ice cream parlour at the door!
