It was clean and had everything necessary for a place to clean up and get some rest.

I was in the room for 6 nights and no staff had called in to at least give fresh towel, I had to go to the reception desk to get fresh ones which they bought to the room but didn’t take the dirty ones .

I didn’t have the breakfast and I found a few very nice little restaurants I. The area. It was great walking up 42 street and being in the thick of Broadway.

Location is amazing, right next to the Times Square and next to a subway station. Even though it’s so central the windows are pretty good at keeping the noise out. Staff is very friendly and kind, requests were fulfilled super quickly and we didn’t run into any problems.

The only quibble was not having water machines like some other US hotels I’ve stayed at - but there were plenty of supermarkets close by.

We stayed in a bunk room and for a budget hotel, the Pod was absolutely perfect - a great atmosphere and exceptionally well located close to Times Square and Hell’s Kitchen, without all the noise. The hotel was clean and the rooms were thoughtfully designed with plenty of sockets and places to hang clothes for the space. There was even a room safe. Lobby staff were helpful and there was a bar and restaurant on the top floor (although it was closed while we were there). I’d feel safe staying here as a solo traveller and would definitely come back again.

You have to ask for your room to be cleaned every day. In addition, the staff doesn't explain how the elevator works. You need to use your card to get on your floor. (You can tell who hasn't been there before because they don't know what to do.) There is very little "customer service". There is a concierge, but the hotel won't call for a taxi, for example. It's pretty easy to get one on the street, though.

The location is terrific. The rooms are small, but smartly designed.

I like the location it was in the middle of times square. I don't like that they don't offer breakfast. It was very clean but the room is extremely compact. I appreciated the extended late checkout.

Bed and pillows were not particularly comfortable. Bed too soft and pillows too lumpy.

Staff members were super friendly and helpful. Sliding panels on windows (vs. draperies at most hotels). Feeling of spaciousness, in spite of the room's small size.

Bunk beds might not be great for folx who have mobility issues. Two sets of TVs (one for each bunk) seems like it's a bit noisy in a tiny room...good thing one of the remotes didn't work!

Rooms are clean and just right for a convenient place to stay. Impressed at the efficiency of space and cleanliness.
