Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Stained sheets, dirty carpet (crumbles, gummy bears, etc), dirty shower box.
Renovated building, rooms look good inside. The lady that did our checkin was nice, the other ones were not friendly.

A shelf or rack in the shower for toiletries would be nice. USB plugs would have been nice as well, but other plugs were sufficient.
Entire property appears to have been recently remodeled. Very attractive large room. Large bathroom. One person could be using shower while another was using sink area. Very spacious.

There was a hole above our toilet in the bathroom for what I'm assuming was a vent, but there was no grate over it - just a hole in the ceiling. When my friend and I went to the lobby to have breakfast at 8:30a, we were met with a very limited choice that we ended up passing on, as the food looked unappealing. There was also no free water in the lobby- it was all bottled and up for sale. Thankfully there are quite a few fast food restaurants in the town, so you could always make a stop on your way to your next destination.
The receptionist and manager during our stay were very kind and helpful. My friend and I had a very late arrival, but the Post Time team were happy to take care of us. When we got to our room, we found it to be one of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in, and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows offered are quite small, but we had brought our own so it didn't make much difference to us.

There was no shelf in the shower to place things on. The room was noisy in the morning, it would be nice to have some soundproof windows. The front desk seemed a little under trained. I think they were new and didn't know how to process different payments.
The room was very well laid out and decorated. It was quite a surprise how nice the inside was compared to the exterior. I think they have done a great job with their remodel and should be an inspiration for other similar hotel chains. For a very basic hotel this was a very pleasant experience.

Not much for breakfast as we waited for the lady to replenish the hot food. But good enough.
Receptionist was very accommodating with our room closer to parking. Clean and spacious room.

The bathroom door was broken and should have been fixed. Husband almost got locked in.
We did not have breakfast but liked the location which was more in the center of town. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Need hooks and extra towel bars in the bathroom. We would have liked to have access to coffee in the early morning, before taking off. We hadn’t asked to replace the in-room coffee for our second morning.
We loved the location, being able to walk to several very good restaurants. The room was spacious.

The key machine didn't work so we had to be let into our room when we checked in, after dinner, and after breakfast which was a slight bother. No soap in the room.
The staff was friendly and the room was large, modern and clean. The location is safe and in downtown.

Nothing sticks out
The rooms were newly furnished and modern. The decor was tastefully neutral. Nothing to offend and nothing to impress. We had a comfortable nights sleep, which is all I really hope for in a motel.

Noticed AC didn't work right away and asked if it could be fixed, but it was late. Next day I was moved. Only other issues are very small things. Metal parts of the shower are rusty and give off a smell and you can't change inputs on the tvs without a code. Otherwise, it's a great place with very nice staff.
Good location and price. Staff are very nice and helpful! Only thing stopping me from giving top marks is that my first room AC didn't work. Staff moved me and were nice, but I still ended up paying for a very miserable sweaty night.

My group paid slightly extra for a breakfast included, and it was quite bad. I wouldn't bother paying the extra cost for it. Additionally, the check-in was a little bit slow, but the check-out was quicker.
The rooms were very clean, especially the bathroom. The price was extremely reasonable, and I ended up paying much less than I would have expected for the room I had. Everyone I was with had a positive opinion of this hotel.
