Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesFridge available but had a slight smell and was pretty full. Downstairs bathroom was a bit icky … bring bath slippers for sure. Upstairs bathroom bigger and less icky but still would use bath slippers. Overall felt like this place could be a bit cleaner.
Felt like a hostel type situation. Pretty easy to get in. Room was clean and there were clean towels in room. Two bathrooms. Laundry available. Had blow dryer and qtips and shampoo/soap. We were happy with what we got for the price point especially compared to the cost of all the places around us. Was quiet enough for two nights of good sleep before big hiking.

United KingdomThe attitude of the staff and not taking responsibility for their tenants and guests. The property packs up dated equipment, safe and secure doors and windows. I was petrified one night when a long term guest forgot his code and later made threats. He was on some drug.
The property is missing sold on line as it's not safe or secure. Strangers and difficult guests stay there permanently like rented accommodation. Also there are no secure doors and windows . A side glass panel door allows strangers to see people inside and there is no 24 hour cover only caretaker's daily. This outer city shared accommodation isn't a place for a tourist and is not peaceful. The walls are thin and you can hear people stamping and heavily walking above you keeping you awake. There was an incident and police called as a guest was using cannabis and I can smell that drug in and out the house.

United StatesConstant smoking outside bled inside, couldn’t open windows because of this. Loud talking outside well past posted quiet hours. Could hear everything from guests inside with creaking floors and cooking/doing dishes loudly at 11pm. Bathroom was unclean and water didn’t drain.
Felt secure with cameras and locks. Free parking. Bed comfortable.

GermanyThe bathroom was dirty and the water didn’t drown in the shower. There are 9 bedrooms with two bathrooms and the house is super noisy, you hear everything. It may seem like a cheap option… next time I rather spend more money for another place.

TaiwanSince it is a rental apartment, it needs to be cleaner, especially when it is being shared with many others. Also the water from the bathroom in the ground floor was not warm enough for taking a shower in March.
The best thing about the property was the location. I loved the room. It was cozy and warm.

FranceDon’t let the pictures fool you. The room is nice, that’s true, and the bed comfortable but that’s the only part of the accommodation that ressemble the pics. Located in a basement, the accommodation is rather unsettling. Exit the comfortable sofas, you will watch the TV (if you manage to work it out) on two dull chairs. The kitchenette would need a thorough clean, like the bathroom. Sinks are rather clogged and the floor and shower full of hair. If you are lucky, you may encounter a cockroach while showering. Also, you will have to respect a quiet time rule from 9pm to 7am (fair enough) but be aware that this rule seems to apply only to the guests and not to the hosts. If you are looking for somewhere to sleep (and only to sleep!) this is a great accommodation. Otherwise, I would definitely not recommend it.
