The location was a little bit further than expected, it usually took more than 15 min to get to manhattan. The only other thing is that the bed was way too hard for our liking, of course, that’s up to each person, we felt like we slept on a yoga mat on the floor.

Everything was VERY clean and well maintained. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, you can find several restaurants and convenience stores nearby. We appreciated the complimentary beverages and breakfast options available to us.

Because many guests have to share one bathroom, there can be quite a long waiting time.

The location is good, but if buses are late it might take up to 1 hour to get to Manhattan.

The apartment needs more cleaning and the neighbours downstairs were noisy every night. We couldn't sleep properly.

Great location in New Jersey. Easy access to NYC with local busses. Quiet, clean and very comfortable room. Responsive host who kindly let us check up later in the day due to 6pm flight and do our clothes washing. Highly recommended.

The place is quiet and comfortable and in close proximity with New York City only 10 - 15min away by bus, also self catering if you need to cook and have meals for budget sensitive traveling, I loved the fact that there was a gas stove a fridge and cutlery, I would come back to this place again and again.

The window didn’t close fully in our room so it was really cold, and when we used the heating it didn’t work in our room, only in the corridor. Also the door to the apartment wasn’t lockable for the first half of our stay.

Poor hygiene (pictures added), lack of basic amenities such as toilet paper, hand towels and soap. Owner unresponsive. Impossible to find street parking. The room is part of a divided apartment so bumping into other guests. A very unpleasant experience.

This property listing was incredibly MISLEADING, and the host was quite RUDE in his communication. Many of the amenities listed are NONEXISTENT! This includes the fitness centre, hot tub, elevator, and free airport shuttle. The host was very rude and simply stopped responding when I asked where these facilities were located. I also think it should be made clearer that this is a SHARED APARTMENT, as I did not realise until much later after booking... Other guests left the bathroom in a disgusting state, and they even STOLE my toiletries! I regret staying here terribly and must discourage all potential guests -- DO NOT book here! Blatant lying should not be allowed on this website, and I am apalled the property has gotten away with it for this long.

I had a wonderful stay in this apartment! It was clean, functional, and very comfortable. The neighborhood is great—safe and pleasant to walk around. Additionally, there are buses nearby that take you to New York quickly and easily, which was very convenient. The host was incredibly kind and professional, making the experience even better. I chose this accommodation because there was on site parking advertised. When I arrived, there was very obviously no parking available (residental street that is permit only parking). I called the manager who was very rude and dismissive; he told me there is no parking and to just park on the street and deal with the parking tickets. When I called booking.com to try and get a refund, the hotel manager then offered a 'solution' of giving me directions to the nearest parking garage 8 blocks away that MAY have availability. This is not a solution at all and is also a safety concern. As there was ultimately no parking, I was forced to find other accomodation and was refused a refund. Very poor experience.
