United StatesThe chair in the room was not stable, one of wheel was broken so the chair was not well balanced and it will tilt to the side. There were times I would feel like I'm going to fall off the chair. I'm sensitive to smells and fragrance, so I didn't like it that the room smelled like cigarettes and smoke the whole time we were there. There was no ventilation in the room, so the smell got on my clothes, pillows, blankets, etc.
The staff were amazing and helpful prior to our stay and during the stay. My Mother in law wanted to share a room with my husband and I, so I called the front desk prior to our arrival. The front desk person was understanding and switched my room from a king bed to a double queen. I did have to work in the hotel room on Thursday and Friday and had asked the front desk if I can have an extra chair for my mother in law to sit during the day. He called the maintenance guy to bring an extra chair to the room for us.

I had to wheel a distance to get to a restroom that I could get into and at that it took another person and the maintenance guy to get me in. There was a 2 inch ledge going into the room that my wheelchair had to be maneuvered over. Through all of this the staff was wonderful!!! Then in the morning there were bugs crawling out of the vanity. We took a still photo and a video. That was the topper for making this a HORRIBLE experience. I am unable to share the video which really shed light on the bug situation

United StatesThe whole 2 days the groups around me were nothing but trouble. Cops came 3 times and I consistently smelled Marijuana thru the whole building especially My room. I used to come to the Travellodgefor a great break and stayed at least 8 times a month. Haven't been back since this. They knew my complaints from the start and the manager had mentioned compensating me cause he knew I had every right to be disappointed. Never heard anything so no longer stay there. Wish keeping your word was as important as it used to be.
The check in was smooth.
