We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe first guy we dealt with didn't tell us all info. I was charged 150 after being told my card was just being put on file. I had to find out from the lady working next to him it would be refunded. And the air didn't work in our room so it was warm and stuffy in there

United StatesThe sofa bed was awful. The mattress was thin and my poor son spent 6 nights sleeping on springs. He was so uncomfortable but rarely complained. There are so many sofa-bed options these days that can be so much more comfortable.
Breakfast was 7/10. I like that you needed your key card to access the dining area. The staff throughout the hotel was exceptionally nice and helpful.

United StatesThe streets were shut down for the Liberty Ball and it was difficult to find our way back to the hotel on foot. Cheronta Williams the Office Manager, gave me a portal phone charger to take with me and found walking directions for me to get around D.C. with streets closed. Everyone was wonderful at the hotel except a few working at the restaurant/bar for breakfast, service was poor and it came with attitude.

The room was incredibly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed—and more—for a perfect stay. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to start the day off right, and the hotel service was simply outstanding. I’m leaving this beautiful city completely in love, but what I’m most in love with is its people. Everyone we encountered, from the hotel staff to locals, was so kind and always willing to help.
