Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe hallway was loud from other hotel patrons and the room temperature was slightly warmer than desired during the seasonal transition month stayed.
The staff was friendly and courteous. The location of the hotel was great; lots of great places nearby to shop and eat. Room was small but met all the needed necessities.

United StatesThe rather small queen deluxe room was just that-small. The room didn’t have comfortable seating for two. The large tv screen was centered on one wall that could not be viewed comfortably from the bed or bench. The queen sized bed was pushed up against the wall. I felt confined to the bed and I had to leave by crawling down to the foot of the bed without disturbing my sleeping husband. As a senior with a bad back this wasn’t a good situation. The bed should be located in the middle of the wall leaving space on each side of the bed. The overly soft sagging mattress was unbearable at times. The full sized bed sheet did not match the queen sized bed leaving us struggling to stay covered. The window had a nice view of the bridge except the window shade could not stay opened-the draw strings were inaccessible. We dressed out of our suitcases which there was room to keep them open. The clothing rack had only room for our winter coats. The unheated vented clean bathroom is modern with quiet flushing toilet. The tiny counter could accomodate one small toiletry bag with an ample sized sink. The shower curtain couldn’t contain the shower water sprays which flooded the floor. There were nice hooks to hang wet towels or clothing on the bathroom door. The view from the corner bathroom window was nice that had shades that just about protected you from the public view.
The hotel’s modern small reception room is warmly heated especially during February’s blustery cold weather with comfortable seating, coffee or tea amenities, and snacks and drinks for purchase. The staff were very friendly! The location was ideal and convenient for us to visit family and go to a local church family funeral.

SlovakiaDirty neighborhood (garbage, homeless people). We had a very small room for four. There was no table where we could sit and eat. Poor soundproofing of the main door to the room. Light from the hotel corridor shone through the door into the room.
Good location, close (5 min. walk) to East Broadway metro station. 24-hour reception. Free coffee at the reception all day, especially in the morning (great). Cleanliness. Quiet street. Close to fast food options. Helpful staff. Good bathroom equipment. Large TV. Spacious elevator.

United KingdomThe decor is a little rough around the edges and we visited during a renovation so this looks to improve. The location although convenient for stations did seem a little unsafe in areas.
Hotel staff were very friendly and the room was a good size for us. The entrance clean bright and airy. Plenty of metro stations close by and some great views of the city and brooklyn bridge. Great places to eat nearby.

EstoniaIf you plan on a longer stay there is no possibility to do laundry, this was not really an issue for us, but it is worth mentioning. There was no mini fridge in the room and there was also no tea kettle in the room (if you wanted tea you had to go to the basement, which was not a dealbreaker, but slightly inconvenient nonetheless). Ideally, there could have been more places to hang jackets/clothes in the room (we visited in winter).
Very good location in Chinatown with comfortable walking distance to the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges. A few minutes walk away from several subway stations. Lots of places to eat nearby and not too far from a Target and Trader Joe's. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bed we had on the 8th floor was comfy.

Canada-Clean room that has been recently renovated -Coffee in room as well as coffee/ tea in lobby. -Kettle available upon request, but might have to remind the front desk -Hotel staff kindly fulfill my request and provide extra pillows in bed -Security box built-in wall. -first night snack provided in room - Very comfortable pillows and bed - Quiet. Each floor only has about 4 rooms; however, you can hear staff chatting in the hallway after about 10am (check out at noon). To be fair, they did stop chatting after they realized that we are still in room (resting due to an overnight flight). No traffic sounds at all in room 203. Will stay here again!

SpainThe room was small and felt cramped for two people, hardly fit two suitcases. The housekeeping did not come every day.
Friendly reception staff, we asked for a room on an upper floor which had amazing views over Manhattan bridge, the king bed and bathroom were comfortable, a little coffee machine, kettle and water bottles were provided, a little fridge was provided upon request. We could leave our luggage after check out for a few hours. The area is not pretty but there are bus stops and a subway station (East Broadway) right around the corner to get around New York.

United StatesWouldn't say any of these comments are about not liking the hotel. For us would have been better to have been closer to a subway stop.
Staff was welcoming and accommodating. Arrived early to drop bags and staff checked us in early. Had a great view of both Manhattan & Brooklyn Bridges.

IndonesiaI like the location, its very close with subway. The properties is in chinatown where you can find lots of food and restaurants, neighborhoods also safe for family. The staffs are warm, free coffee in lobby 24/7, although room is not that big but they have 2 queens beds and fits for family of four and value for money. Overall we are happy staying in this property and would love to comeback.

United KingdomI can't think of anything that would have improved it.
The location is perfect if you want to be in a brilliant little neighbourhood right next to multiple subways stations. It's not midtown so it's a subway ride to the big tourist attractions but I recommend it for more as a place to stay than midtown. The neighbourhood has so many lovely bars and restaurants literally a two minute walk away. Only a short walk to noho and all that has to offer, and then a slightly further walk to soho. Perfect location. Staff were lovely, room was compact but clean, light and all we needed for our stay.
