The tiling from the steps to the bottom is the same. In the sun it blends in. It caused me to fall. I did not get checked out but I broke my right pinky finger.

Close to beach, bar/restaurant on site. It wasn’t fancy and is outdated but very clean and homey.

Old and dated. Could be beautiful if they would update the bathroom, flooring (which was peeling up), kitchen and the windows which were hard to see out of and noisy. Also pigeons were nesting in the eves! Dresser, table and other items could have been dusted to at least remove remnant sand from previous renters. Also, bathroom floor had hair on it when we arrived. The management seems more interested in keeping the Tiki bar up due to its probably the main money maker at Riptide.

Location is right on the broadwalk and the bed was clean otherwise we would not have stayed at this property!! Room attendants were helpful if we needed anything.

Room outdated for the price. Parking should be included at this cost. All I wanted was to hear the ocean at night but the windows don’t open at all. It’s right on the boardwalk so you see the ocean but also all the people pass right by your window so you have to keep the curtains closed for privacy but then you can’t enjoy the ocean view Tv is small and hard to watch from bed.

Parking wasn't especially my favorite, but once we learned about the gated area, it was much better. I think parking $5.00 daily, should have benn included in the room rate.

Hotel was good. I would have liked a ground floor, but that wasn't offered. The tiki bar was fun. It was my 50th year class reunion. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

They sprung a $15 per day parking fee on us when we arrived. We had traveled all day and had no energy to move on. Does not say anything about the fee on the website and we had stayed there previously (just 10 days prior) and had not been charged. Front desk staff was really rude.and the place was not cleaned properly. There are lots of choices on Hollywood Beach, and I would never choose this place again.

Everything was in the kitchenette except coffee for the provided coffee pot, lol.

Room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view! We were surprised how awesome it was! They also had beach chairs with sun umbrella provided which we sadly didnt find until we were leaving. Great location right on the beach with all kinds of shops,, restaurants, bars, etc. We were in room 26 which I believe was probably the best room view of all!

The air quality made us feel stuffy . The noise from other guests were ridiculous at 2 AM. Hotel is rundown and couldvuse sprucingvup for the price.

We stayed for 5 days on the 4th of July week. The fireworks were right in front of the hotel which were beautiful. We loved the location, our room view was amazing and the live music every day was perfect. Definitely looking forward to be back soon.

Manager was rude the air didn't work in our room was told it was Florida and that's the way it is. Said we could move to another room and then when the person checked in to that room we would have to move to another room no guarantee it would be the room we rented. Refuned the remaining cost of our stay it should had been the whole amount due to the fact air didn't work. we had a ocean front room and was told to keep the blinds and curtains closed to help with heat. I rented a ocean front so I could see the ocean. Not curtains and blinds

everyone was so friendly. The environment was so inviting. they had live music all day. They serve food and drinks. No hard alcohol but we bought stuff at the local liquor store and they had no problem with us bringing it to the patio. Will absolutely be staying here next time we visit this area.
