I would have given an even better score, but we had an unfortunate situation. It wasn't the fault of the resort, but may could have been handled better. There was a bad windstorm the evening that we got there and the electricity went out due to trees falling on the electric lines. Because this is a rural place, the electricity being out meant that there was also no water because the water depends on a pump! So we were in the dark with also no water to flush the toilet or anything else! Luckily the weather was mild so we didn't need either heat or air conditioning. We used our own flashlights and tucked in for the night. We had bottled water for drinking so we were okay. We left in the morning and still didn't have either running water or electricity! It would have been better if someone had been around in the office/store so that we could have maybe gotten some answers about what to expect. We left about 10 in the morning and still didn't see anyone.

There was a food truck in the parking lot that had great breakfast stuff. Nice folks. Also pretty comfortable bed. Everything was very clean. Really pretty setting. Lots of fly fishermen around.

Such a sweet spot away from the hustle of Missoula! Rooms were comfortable and the area was so quiet....loved sipping coffee on the front porch in the morning! Staff was so kind and helpful and very accommodating!

We did have a problem with the electricity the first night but it was not their fault. The whole area was without electricity and that also shut down the water. It was inconvenient for but was repaired the next day.

It was a a good location, comfortable with a well-stocked store. The people were on-site and friendly.

Location is everything. I go there for the fishing. great location for fishing Rock Creek (of course), but also short runs to Clark Fork River and Blackfoot River. Great fishing at all three.

Here is the beautiful forested retreat your body and mind aches for. Don't go here looking for a copy cat of the swanky big brands in hospitality. Go to be reinvigorated, enthralled with life again, and to see the world though clearer. Go for the peace and maybe the fishing.😅

E-Coli Inspection failed the last week of June. Information not reflected on listing. There is an ongoing investigation. Limited close food options. Even more limited if you arrive after 8 PM (Poor Henry’s had already quit serving food.)

Sweet spot about 25 minutes outside of Missoula, in a beautiful river valley. Staff were super friendly, it was clean, comfortable, quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

No ice available, but office did what they could to help. No where nearby for dinner/breakfast.

Very comfortable. Room was clean, spacious. People very accommodating. Rustic, not fancy. Quiet, easy on/off highway.
