Was a little worried about the area it was in.

The staff was great, the hotel was nice and breakfast was just what was needed!

The train that runs every couple hours is so close. I would have liked to know before booking that the train is close and loud and runs about every two hours.

Staff • When I checked in the employee was dismissive of me, my questions, and my concerns. The employee barely made eye contact with me. I felt as though I was an inconvenience to them. • My room was next to the housekeeping staffs’ room. In the morning the staff were standing in front of my door and speaking very loudly about non-work-related things. Location • I’m not familiar with the city, but I did not feel safe with my car parked outside nor with easy access to my room door. Security • When I checked in, I was told there is a garage with a gate, and that depending on who’s working they will lock the gate around midnight. I don’t know it’s only locked when certain employees are working and not because it’s common practice. • My door’s peep hole was scratched, so I was unable to look out of it when I heard people outside.

    The tiling in the shower.

Mostly found driving downtown a challenge. I am older and unfamiliar with Spokane so I found dealing with the one way streets difficult . Of course this is not within the Hotel's control, and it is my own personal limitation.

I was worried about the location when I first pulled up , but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it anaway. Glad I did ! Found the place was kept very clean and provided great value for the price. The Staff was always helpful, the room was always clean. The location turned out to be the best feature as anything I wanted or needed was within short walking distance, and given all the one way streets down town , walking turned out to be the best. I stayed 7 days and would definitely like to stay here again next time

There is an overhead train track that is right next to hotel, the rooms are not sound insulated so you can hear everything. The rooms below you, people coughing, alarms, etc. the sheets were stained, and carpets were gross. Good location but disappointing stay overall.

The pictures were completely different than reality. The shower didn’t drain. The towels were rags. There was a train that went right next to the hotel every 10 minutes all through the night. It was horrible. No one slept. We got up early and just left. It was not worth $50 and we were charged $232. There was nothing on their link about a train. It was like we were tricked.

The staff were friendly and quick.

Gaps between door and door frame. The train was the same level as the floor which shook the room every time it went by, which was 5 times during our 3 hours of actual sleep. The staff didn't inquire on our early checkout or what they could've done to improve our stay.

When we checked in there was nobody at the desk and a sign that said to call a number for assistance. I called the number twice and the phone at the front desk rang instead. I waited for about 10 minutes before someone came in and asked if I had been helped, when I said no, an employee came running around to the desk, remarked that he had been there the entire time, and then continued to be extremely short and visibly annoyed with me. The elevator stunk so badly that we decided to take the stairs to our third-floor room. Once inside the room, we found our sheets flipped inside out, so we had to flip them in order to keep them on the bed. The bed was sinking on one side, so a pretty uncomfortable night. Not that we got much sleep anyway because the people in the room next to us were having a very loud and exciting evening with each other from around 10 pm-3 am. I called the front desk to complain at one point but nobody answered. Our neighbors decided to go for another round at about 7:30 am so we had what was left of the continental breakfast in the morning and then checked out as soon as we could. We came to celebrate our anniversary after staying at the Ruby Hotel a few years back which we loved. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Not planning on coming back again.

The location was easy to find, and parking was very nice. The price was good for a king bedroom and the bathroom was clean. What was left of the breakfast was decent.

no grass for my dog to do her business. We had to walk about a block before we found some. Would be nice to have a small area even if it’s just Astroturf.
