For the pecan cottage, the bed could use updating and the door lock is quite stiff and could use fixing. Dinner food was excellent 1 night and the next night was only okay.

Continental breakfast and dinner being included was great. The free waters and cookies and drinks in the day and the hot tub were excellent. Spa experience was excellent and all the staff were helpful.

The reason I stayed was it was all inclusive. I figured out it was better than staying at a hotel for what you would get. They had a wonderful dinner that evening - three course meal and breakfast was out standing with homemade cinnamon rolls and fresh cut fruit and other yummy items. You could also get a homemade fresh breakfast with eggs, etc. The room was so nice and clean and the area was so quiet and beautiful views. Staff was so nice and helpful. You could swim laps in the pool and did you say pickleball - wonderful courts.

One of the best place I’ve ever stayed at. Magical location and view, lots of cosy lounging areas, massive pool, lovely room and food and the best staff. We spoke with Brad, the manager, about the history and wildlife, very nice and professional team. Thank you Brad! The photos don’t do it justice!! We’ll definitely go back if in Texas!

The heat in the room did not funvction properly. The bed squeaked. I requested garlic-free food in advance. I had to remind them every night at dinner, and my dinner was still prepated with the rest of the guests (with garlic). I even checked with the front desk to be sure my request had been annotated. It was.

Loved pretty much everything - a thought is possibly eliminate the corking fee for bringing in your own wine to dinner. It doesn't really make sense because we simply enjoyed our wine before and after dinner on the patio, grounds, room, etc. I know that restaurant wants to sell wine, but if someone wants to have a glass, they would just have it at times other than dinner vs. paying the fee. I believe eliminating this fee would probably be more of a positive than negative for the property.

The property was magnificent. It sits high on a hill overlooking a creek and there are lots of trails and gardens to explore. There are deer and so many different birds - the wildlife was fun to watch. Meals were included (breakfast and dinner) and that is nice when you don't want the hassle of getting out for dinner. It is the most relaxing spot.

It's a little oasis, only 30mins from Austin. Our room (Martin) was large with direct access to verandahs on both sides of the building. The bed was extremely comfy, & despite the temperature outside being close to 100*, the room was surprisingly cool. The staff are all amazing, & the spa was wonderful.

There was no microwave in the room to heat anything up, you have to go down and use the one in the library. Be prepared to tip. Also if you need anything don't try texting the number or using the request on the TV no one gets to them. If it's really important just go down to the office when someone was there, also if you are looking forward to cookies throughout the day just keep in mind that they won't be out until around 3pm or so. Oh also the bed was just off. I couldn't put my finger on what it was maybe the mattress just needs flipped I'm notsure

The room and the property is beautiful. Massage was great and much needed. Everyone was friendly enough and they put our dinner in our room Friday night as we were getting in late. This is definitely a good place to stay to slow down from day to day life with your spouse and just enjoy some quiet quality time together.

We went for pickleball, there are no wind screens, and the courts - on top of a hill, are ALWAYS windy - I went alone, and although communal seating is advertised, I was seated alone. There were dead bugs on the window sills, rust on the hand mirror, door hinges squeaked loudly, window shade was broken - overall needed much more attention to details if they are charging a premium - my room was $400+ a night.

The setting out in the country is nice. Check how far your room is from the building where the meals are, I was 1/2 mile away, and didn't have a car. The small breakfast was exactly the same every morning, and even though breakfast is included, they charge you $15 if you want any egg dishes fixed! Dinner is also included, but they bring a bill after dinner, expecting a large tip for the servers - at the high price of the resort they need to pay their staff out of the high room price.

The AC didn’t seem to address the moisture. Everything in the room felt moist.

Liked how the rooms were conveniently located with the pool and dining area. The balconies were excellent for watching sunset with a drink.
