We booked a room with a private bathroom, but we didn't realize the bathroom was just outside of the bedroom. So we had to leave our room to use the bathroom.

The hosts were very welcoming and kind! The room was clean and the linens were extremely cozy. The breakfast was incredible - simple and well done. They were able to accommodate my gluten free dietary restriction easily!

The large windows did not allow for curtains, so there was a lot of light coming in when you were trying to sleep, but they did provide eye sleep masks. The toilet paper tissue needed to be softer, to please me. Charmin please😘

The location, facilities, and daily, homemade breakfast were all great. We stayed in the largest room with a king size bed with beautiful views from numerous large windows. The breakfasts were marvelous, with homegrown ingredients, including eggs from their hens, and zucchini and blackberries for their garden .

Noisy doors, looks like it was just painted so there was overspray, no garbage buckets in the room. Lots of work for the staff

Being that is fairly new I think things were good beds were comfortable. Access to the bathroom was good, it was clean. Friendly staff

Appreciated that they accommodated for breakfast when we had an early start to one our days. The host was wonderful and very courteous, our room was very clean and ready for us to occupy, and although we had to share a bathroom, we never had any conflicts to use it, and the bathroom was very clean. Most of all, it was away from the hustle and bustle of Friday Harbor when we wanted to finally hang it up for the day.

Saturn's Return is one of San Juan Island's "hidden" gems. The location is perfect if you're looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway. It's on the other end of the island but easily accessible from Friday Harbor. Emma and Wiley were great friendly hosts. It was easy to tell from the choice of bed linens to the robes, toiletries, etc., that they put a lot of thought and effort into making their guests feel at home. Loved our room, the sun room, living room and outdoor space. Pretty much everything! I took the best nap I've had in years shortly after checking in and slept like a baby throughout the night. The locally sourced breakfast spread was such a delight to wake up to. Oh, and don't freak out when you see a turkey lurking around. It's the farm's superstar and chummy ambassador, Super! Can't wait to stay here again!

Emma & Wiley are amazing hosts, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was delightful and the farm setting truly feels like you've gotten away and experienced the islands. Would highly recommend a stay at Saturn's return!

See all the above. Another thing, we could never use the sun room because the young owner used it as his office, or at least he was always in it with his laptop.

I looked at all the reviews before booking, and I believed them. A big mistake. Breakfast was never as described. We stayed 3 nights and every breakfast was the same; COLD fried zucchini, COLD hard boiled eggs, runny yogurt that was more like keffer, nice bread but the toaster didn't work, and cherry tomatos which came from the farm, maybe. None of the food came from the "farm". There was a note that told where each product came from, some of which was't even on that island. I booked a QueenRoom with garden view. No such thing. We had a full sized bed, rather then the queen I paid for, with no view at all. Infact the only small window was four feet off the floor. The bathroom was right in the bedroom. I mean right in, as there was NO wall between; so forget privacy. the lights , both of them, must have had 25 wtt bulbs as we couldn't even see enough to read in bed. And we were over charged since we paid for a green room with a view and got the cheaper full sized bed; $994.15 by the way, for three nights. On top of all of that, we left a down filled lab rope by mistake in the room and they have not returned it to us yet even tho I left messages on their telephone. They don't have a web site on the confirmation so that was not an option. I will never, never recommend this place to anyone. There as so many other places to stay that are far better believe me.

The outdoor area was messy. In the pics it showed mowed lawn in eating areas. It was actually tall dead grasses. They should keep the main areas mowed down. Also they should wipe down the outside eating areas. When I went to sit for breakfast the chair was soaked and dirty, had to go change cloths.

The owners were very nice. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet.

There is no sign on road so hard to find property. Very spare accommodations. No decorations on walls. No window coverings. Stayed in 2 bed room. Up steep flight of stairs. One bed was on platform-easy to trip in middle of night. One of us slipped in bathtub which had no mat available. Breakfast was a little late (at 830) which made it difficult if we planned a morning activity. Breakfast was ok but cold-very fresh and locally sourced. There is no button or way to contact proprietor if needed
