The rooms are just old and the place could use a lot of updates including a severe deep cleaning and fresh paint in the rooms. I could also hear everything in the rooms adjacent to my room.

The upstairs hallways need a major refresh. New carpet and new paint job. There was a ratty looking couch in my room. The room was pricy and they don't tell you on the web that parking is extra and expensive.

Location to all of Washington was excellent. Jay, the person that greeted me at the desk was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

The service at the restaurant is hit or miss (though better lately). They do have some lower-floor rooms that need some care.

Depending on the floor you're on, you may well end up with a great room and a lovely view. Pretty close to Georgetown.

The above comment sorry wrong spot.

I asked for my eggs to be well done they were not, the potatoes were not hot, nor the bacon. It would been nice to have a choice of bread for 22.00.

The gym could really do with a makeover. Alternate day cleaning is not the best approach. Long stay guests should get atleast a turndown

Vicky and another team member (lady) - does morning shifts also are fantastic.

Lots of adjoining rooms where neighbours can wake you up. Water wasn’t warm enough in the showers and issues with water pressure.

Great location in Glover Park … very near Georgetown and other historic sights. Very friendly staff and a nice gym in the basement. The kitchenette rooms have a decent coffee maker and a fridge which is great. Rooms are quiet if you are not facing the main street… comfy beds.

If you want a quick breakfast best way is going across the street, the nearby connected restaurant/cafè is nice but although with limited number of people at that time, it took about an hour to have breakfast.

Room is very spacious, with a very comfortable bed, cclean and very nice with wooden floor. All possble needed equipment was available.

The weird, dingy textured rug in the room threw me off initially. Downgrades the quality of everything else. Bathroom sink/bathroom color is outdated/yellowish beige.

Love the comfortable bed mattress, the Molten Brown body wash, shampoo & conditioner, the Lavazza coffee is the best. Love the shower set up. Love the large window and sunlight. The people working there are wonderful.

Blackout blind in bedroom didn’t actually black out the room. Need curtains in addition not just those pretend ones.

Breakfast was a simple range but prepared reasonably well. Coffee excellent. Breakfast staff very good, friendly and considerate. Especially Wita. All staff were friendly, housekeeping, front desk and restaurant. Actually surprising when comparison with other US hotel stays where staff are ambivalent at best. This was refreshing.

The bed could definitely use a pillow topper and smaller, softer pillow options. Feather comforters are too warm for me so I used the comforter to sleep on as a topper and covered up with the sheets.

The location, employees, room, bathroom, and furnishings were very nice. The newly opened restaurant had tasty food but could use a more diverse menu. The phone concierge service was responsive and my room was quiet with a lovely tree view. Busses were very convenient.
