The drapes in our apartment kept out the heat/light but we’re a little dated. Some fresh soft furnishings would make the rooms more inviting.

We loved the location on the bay and the awesome view from our balcony. Staff were very attentive. The easy loan of beach towels and snorkeling equipment, enabled us to maximise outdoor pursuits and having access to the property’s kayaks allowed us to explore the local marine area .

No more fire dancers. No maid service. Parking fee (but then, it's very common in Hawaii -- rather annoyingly) This is not a 'resort' as often described in other countries. Not deluxe or busy, but very comfy. The apartment looked more dated than in the advertised photos (darker furniture too). No lifts and lots of stairs to get to the apartments. No one to help with luggage (receptionist had to help herself).

The view from the HUGE terrace... Having a fully fitted kitchen was useful. Amazing location, close to so many 'must see' in the area. Great shower.

The cottages are divided in two with a very thin joining wall. On the first night we had loud neighbours, luckily the next few nights we had a quiet family.

Why we went, and what we were very pleased to see, was the stunning view from our waterfront cottage. Picture perfect. The cottage was clean with comfortable beds.

what was shown as our room from Bookings.com is not what we received. This is a first time occurrence for me. We were supposed to have a suite with water view and a room with Mountain View-not what we received.

Location was wonderful-rooms were quiet except for roosters crowing in am. if you have your air conditioning on you probably can’t hear them.

Unique property over the pali in Kaneohe

    • Stayed 3 nights

It's located in a modest residential area, down a narrow lane, and has several buildings, many on a steep hillside, with a building across the street. Water is on 3 sides, and makes for a really neat spot. When driving up, the only word I found to describe the exterior was 'funky' and 'old' (neither of which were meant to be derogatory!).

hard to describe this place: we had a renovated, modernized suite. But we were told that there aren't many of these. (yet?) I could not fairly evaluate other parts of the property because I didn't see any of the other rooms/suites. The Lobby and reception area was new and really nice..but no one ever used it because coffee service and breakfast is STILL suspended, the excuse being Covid precautions.

Overall, I would stay here again. It was very comfortable. The walls are very thin, you can hear people just turning over in bed or clearing their throat but we did not spend a ton of time in our room for our 7 day stay. The cost was steep for not having any breakfast or food options on site. In fairness to Paradise Cove, it is because we are Canadian and our dollar is awful. My CND cost was approx $370 a night and in the description it had a breakfast buffet and a few other ammenties listed when we booked that are no longer offered. There is a Covid disclaimer but I feel that should be removed as Covid is not relevant to most travel plans these days and the website should be updated to remove the food options.

The beds were so comfortable it was like sleeping on clouds!!!!! View was amazing. Parking was easy. Pool and hot tub where clean. The Kitchenette was useful. Having the Kayaks, paddle boards and yoga was a great addition. TV worked well and the shower was hot and the water pressure was good. The fridge was a great size and it had a freezer as well which came in very handy. The room was a great size.

Had to asked for morning coffee, clean towels & 24 hour notification to clean the room. A very steep incline to parking lot. Towels for swimming pool has to be picked from the office and return the towel after. outdoor chairs were so uncomfortable & were unraveling and the indoor chairs were just as uncomfortable! Too many uneven walk ways and lots of stairs to rooms. Shop for food & beverages before you arrive. 15 mins to the nearest grocery stores.

The only resort on the east side that was near the water. A quiet place with a small kitchenette & a small porch with a great view. A swimming pool & hot tub was a welcoming site. A floating deck on the water was a nice touch. Staff & housekeeping were absolutely delightful!

Very tranquil, tropical and beautiful scenery of the bay and ocean especially from the lanai.
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • One-Bedroom Suite
    • Stayed 7 nights

We stayed 6 nights which most were good. However, on the 4th night we had 3 water roaches that were crawling in one of our bedrooms, bathroom and seating area. The night clerk apologized and stated that due to the heavy rain during the early evening and because the hotel is located near the bay/tropical area -- and after spraying every two days. There maybe on occasion critters that may come into the rooms, especially on the first floor (which was where our room was located). He immediately distributed a pesticide around our front door and patio area. Informed me that he would let the maintenance/groundkeepers know to spray outside again and inside our room, if we desired the next morning. He also killed the one that was in our bathroom. Since we had 2 nights left before the purpose of our trip's special event which location was 10-12 minutes away, we decided to stay. Therefore, to prevent further critters from coming inside, we put a towel at the bottom of the inside door and had no further issues. Additionally, there were lots of roosters (which crowed from dusk until dawn) and quite a few cats around the hotel lobby under parked cars. Parking is scarce for the amount of rooms/buildings the resort has for customers. To our surprise, our resort hotel room had rattan (plastic) patio furniture as a couch/sofa and tv stand which was not shown in the online pictures. We were informed that there is no public onsite computer/business area and due to the COVID pandemic no onsite breakfast was served. Although the outside was great, the hotel room was older with some updated amenities in the kitchenette and bathroom.

The view was amazing and the staff was awesome, very helpful when required and gave us a list of sighting sites, places to shop and eat in the local area. The bay view was spectacular and just a short walk/drive to the park with a small beach and ocean view. The resort is located in a housing area and has several buildings. The neighbors were friendly. Walking out on the lanai you can hear the birds chirping during the day, have coffee, meditate/yoga in the morning. Additionally, there were places to a private bar-b-que. The grounds and the pool/jacuzzi were well cleaned. If you're looking to get-away from the city and you like the feel of nature/water/being outside -- then you like this resort.

No food offered at the hotel which I think would be nice, at least breakfast for sure. In the second room we could quite easily hear the people staying in the room next door so sound proofing could be better.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The first room we had did not have a view but once we upgraded for a small fee we got a much nicer view and it was worth it. Very good location and easy to get to places nearby but make sure you have a car while staying here as you will need to go places. Pool area was a bit small but nice. We went on a bout tour that the hotel arranged and it was very good with snorkeling and swimming. We used the kayaks that the hotel offers and that was nice as well and easy to get out into the bay and see plenty of sea turtles. Parking is offered and was good, although somewhat limited but we were able to find a parking spot every time, although sometimes it was not the parking closest to our room.

Thin wall. And the front desk support was all online. There was no phone to interact with the staff. This might sounds good for ppl who like to isolate from the technology. But information before getting into our room is not fulfilling. We need to ask everything to the front desk.

I like the fact of the location was in the middle of nature. Waking up seeing the wonderful view was still breathtaking. Friendly staff.
