Two different rooms in the lodge were inadequate. Floors were slanted and squeaky. One lamp in the room, no place to lay items, tub didn’t drain properly, and not one chair to sit in.

Staff was exceptional! Kept trying to work through problems with the rooms. Did not give up until we were satisfied!

Beautiful place for taking walks. Lots of fun crafts to try.

Elevator was broken in the Lodge for my entire stay. I’m 63 years old and have a hard time walking up stairs while carrying luggage. The mini-golf course was closed.

we booked this property because we stayed there previously and like the fact that it had a indoor pool and hot tube to relax in at night. That area was closed for renovations and it was not disclosed anywhere and the splash pad at the main pool was closed. Two Plus features were unusable.

Arcade took money in a couple machines. Flies all over restaurant, windows, tables at both pools. It detracted from the experience and is not a usual concern when we travel here.

People are nice. Sweet pools.

Macs Restaurant was mediocre. Flies all over the pool area, I killed 3 during lunch, more in our room. It was gross.

The towels don’t dry in the room. I had to ask each day for them to be replaced despite putting in a request the night before, the morning of, and placing used towels in the hall. Evidently the air conditioner doesn’t dehumidify to the degree that it removed excess moisture from the room. This is the second room we’ve stayed in and both were “damp”. The bathroom in this room was MUCH better, though, even though the towels wouldn’t dry. It would be nice if the trash was dumped and the coffee-makings were replaced daily.

EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN! Cleanest bathroom EVER! Beautiful facility!!! Thoughtful touches…welcome bag, lotion, a good size bar of soap for the sink. Friendly, accommodating staff, for the most part. Comfortable bed. Love that there is no carpet! Plenty of storage for a small room.

Not enough lighting in the room. Room was small, had to put my suitcase in front of the door. Not enough plugs. Had to charge my phone in the bathroom. Would have been nice to have regular coffee and maybe fruit or a muffin there for people who didn't want to drive to the store for breakfast.

The staff was great, very clean, bed was comfortable, grounds were beautiful.

No microwave in rooms. No handles in shower to grip. Tub was peeling and slick when wet. Restaurant/Bar closed.Not ice machines on floors. You have to go to the basement to get it.

Clean, the two clerks that checked me in were fantastic on Wednesday evening.

The property is wonderful- relaxing, lots of activities available. Ours was a stop on our drive from Maryland to Asheville, NC. Thus we just interested in a place to stay that wasn’t in a city or a congested area. The only downside to the facility is that there was no restaurant/eatery on site.

I didnt like the Canadian geese all over the property. There is excrement everywhere you walk. The dock was especially disgusting. These birds ruin the lake and can be humainly encouraged to leave with the use of a dog or other methods that golf courses use all the time. We wont be back for this reason and I am a birder. I also didnt like their use of plastic for the coffee service, bad for the environment and so wasteful that no wood stir sticks were provided. They need to embrace their natural setting with better environmental decisions.

There is absolutely no food at this location. We arrived around 6p.m. and would have atleast liked to have healthy snacks and or fruit available. There are very limited eating options nearby, so if you are staying at the inn and not in your RV or a cabin with a kitchen this is a drawback.

Parking was terrible. We were in Unit 16 and many days we could not park by our unit. It was very difficult to get our suitcases to the unit due to all the stairs. The tennis courts were closed. The mini golf was not well kept. Not that fun. The restaurant was closed. No where to go to by a glass of wine and socialize. Our unit didn’t have Wi-Fi. We called the front desk but got a run around

The only complaint for our room was that there was no table or chair to sit in. The only place to sit in the room was the bed.

No restaurant on site since COVID. Very comfortable beds in the houses.

Great surroundings and beautiful view from the pool. Despite the numerous houses there was enough place at the pool. The resort area is very well maintained.
