I was working nights while down in La Jolla. So having housekeeping knock on my door 3 hours after falling asleep was pretty inconvenient.

I enjoyed the overall atmosphere. The hotel was very tidy.

Too expensive, very stingy with perks. That was the main "did not like". Simple thing that would not matter, if it was not too expensive - bed was too soft for my taste, each person got two body pillows, instead of regular sleeping pillow (not that comfortable). There were "real" glasses in the room - I would have been ok with disposable plastic one, but lower room price. Overall, everything was OK, but not worse the money spent.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for what we got. Stay and room was fine, but definitely not worse the money. This is the first time ever I had to pay separately for parking!!! Even the price was off the roof, no breakfast included. One complimentary water bottle in the room, second one labeled "$2". LOL. Two people staying in the room, at least give complimentary bottle per person... Overall, just not worse the money. Disappointed.

I booked a room with a garden view, but it was just a bush view. The room was the ground floor facing the garden but lower than the garden walkway. People could see inside the room if I kept the blinds open and also I couldn't see anything but bushes. It wasn't a garden view but bush view. It should be advertised as "room with a garden view". Additionally the ceiling was very low and I felt a little crushed. The shower door kept opening when I was taking a shower. My daughter had the same experience. I'll look for a different hotel next time.

The location was good. Convenient to the shops and UCSD.

There were no issues or problems during our stay.

Room was spacious and was easy to make use of devices and the bathroom shower. My wife has mobility issues but this room made it easy for her. The staff responded to my request for ease of access and put us by the elevator.

I really didn't appreciate having my swimsuit removed from my room, I had planned to swim in the ocean on my last morning in California and that was ruined. The replacement heater was too noisy to sleep with, but the bed covers weren't adequate to ward off the chill. Whilst the pool was lovely, the jacuzzi was stone cold after day 1 and the fitness room only had heavy free wights. I felt the hotel was expensive for the level of service and facilities and poor value for money overall

I really liked being on site for my event, the fact there was a pool and gym available I loved being close to the Whole Food store and the food outlets. The room was a nice size and the Queen bed was ample. I really liked having a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room too. Even though the room faced the car park, I had no street noise at all

Nice hotel with beautiful garden, pool and hot tub. Friendly staff. Nice room with comfy beds, great WiFi for work video meetings. I5 pretty loud unfortunately.

Didn't like the parking rate which was a bit high.

The location was amazing.. very close to a lot of shops and restaurants including t-mobile and bank of America which we needed. It was also close to UCSD where we needed to be. The pond and lovely view of the room was a plus The breakfast was good but if you are staying for long I would recommend not taking breakfast as it gets boring after a while

Room was facing the freeway and the traffic noise could be heard in the room. Construction was going on in the building. Roll away bed was uncomfortable. For the price, this was not good value
