Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesMaid service trying to bust down the door at 8:30 in the morning. Waking us up. ( and yes i didn't have the do not disturb sign up. )But still 8:30 in the morning on a Monday. I think is a little early for that.
The location is excellent. Lots of restaurants and shops to go to. Right on the water.

United Statesthe website I was on made it appear breakfast was included, also may want all reservations to make it clear that the only free parking is on the street and that hotel valet parking is an additional $32 a night. the entrance is confusing with the one ways, and the blocked streets.
new, clean, modern, incredible location.

United StatesOne gentleman at the front desk at check-in was very friendly unfortunately I didn't get him. My experience with the ladies at check-in or with questions was that they were not so friendly. They all barely smiled. Valet was good, the security guy doing the valet in the early hours was slow and seemed bothered when I needed my car early. I still tipped him though you may want to convey to him that if he was helpful with a suitcase and walked with purpose he could get tipped more often.
The hotel and area were beautiful. I enjoyed dinner at the Salt and Copper and the ease and comfort of dining in the other restaurants.

United Stateswhile our overall experience was really wonderful, there was one day when my parents came to visit and was sat down in the hotel restaurant to eat but was not acknowledged or waited on after they were brought to the table. the restaurant was not crowded but no one went to help them. they sat there for almost 20 minutes before deciding to eat across the street.
the new property is wonderful. there is so much to see and do without having to leave the area. we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay for two more nights.

United KingdomBoth the hotel and the nearby facilities are very expensive. We paid $80 for two pizzas and some wine. Lovely, but expensive. There is valet parking, which was quite expensive for an outlying area; the cost is more what you would expect from a major city centre location. There is one major downside, and that’s noise. The rooms either face the mall area with all its bars and restaurants or the Sound. The mall is ok but the road through is frequented by certain people and their big exhausts, revving engines and screeching tyres. It’s constant throughout the evening and night. Even the shoreline path was very noisy into the early hours so if a window was open you hear everything.
This is a lovely new hotel and the staff are very keen and friendly. The rooms are very nice and being new everything worked and was clean. The finishes are all high end so no disappointments with the room overall. The bed was comfy and the linens clean and unmarked. There is a coffee machine in the room but not enough pods or milks to last a short stay, so maybe that could be improved. Ask for more at reception. Fridge also provided. There is a rooftop pool and hot tub which all looked very nice. There is a gym also with all the usual machines in a fairly large room, probably say it was limited in loose weights, but it’s a hotel in the end. The valet guys were friendly and attentive. There is a mall on the doorstep with lots of eateries suiting all tastes. However the prices are hugely marked up so be prepared. All in all it’s a lovely place and has the Puget Sound on the doorstep. I would go back but would plan to eat away from the Point, just because it’s overpriced.

United StatesI wish the industrial area towards Tacoma was not in the same view as the mountain. Small price to pay for a great view and comfortable room.
The room was great. It was very large and the bed was very comfortable. All the little shops and restaurants were great. The view of the mountain was spectacular. I also enjoyed the restaurant down stairs. Very good food at not over priced.

United Statescharging for parking
Great location with a huge boardwalk/walk path for riding bikes, walking, skating etc - right on the water! tons of food nearby and really nice and clean. The staff is phenomenal starting with the valet and then on to the front desk staff, who checked us in. I wish I could recall the gentleman who checked me in but he was so nice and accommodating. When we called for extra items, they were delivered quickly and with a sincere smile. The hotel is brand new and the staff treats it as if they truly care about keeping it that way. The price isn’t cheap, but I’ve stayed at places that cost more and I got way less. The rooms are very large as well as the bathroom. They are modern and very comfortable. Overall, I give this place a 9.5 out of 10 and the half point loss is only because you must pay for parking regardless if you use valet or not. I hate being charged extra for parking. In big cities you expect that but when you are off the beaten path a little, you don’t generally see those charges. That said, I would gladly stay here again and plan to do so the next time I’m on the West Coast.

United StatesMostly perfect view has construction going on underneath. Distance from room to elevator was very significant for our side of the building. Many guests (including us) struggled to get the elevator to recognize keycards without opening and closing doors once or twice.
Great comfortable bed. Great shower and bathroom amenities. TV was galactic size. Location left all sorts of options for time we didn't have planned out. Staff were all consistently kind, thoughtful, helpful, and understanding.
