What a positive experience! Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown DC, one block away from the White House! The room was spotless with a beautiful design and a comfortable bed! Just a quick comments on the reception team, particularly Lucas, you can improve in your customer service skills.

Had issues with the toilet but fixed quickly and compensation offered so overall, pleased.

Great location and comfortable rooms but we had issues with a leaky toilet - was fixed once and then happened again. Hotel did compensate us for the inconvenience however.

Water pressure in the shower is too low, water temperature in the bath tub is either too cold or too hot, and water in the sink is too cold (not able to adjust the temperature). Valet parking service is good but unable to track /sync payment made separately from the hotel (i paid first night valet directly via the payment link provided in the text message, did not check the final bill and paid twice). Should just let it be charged to the hotel bill.

The room was nice but had a few issues.....shower door is hanging on an angle and only closes with force. Location was very good. The restaurant was satisfactory.

The hallways were a little tired. The safe in my room did not work. It looked like someone had tried to break into the room or perhaps were locked in as the security bar was only in the door on one screw,

It was a terrific location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast, while expensive, was good. The room was comfortable.

Needs updating. Iron in our room didn’t work. They were quick to replace it though when we contacted the front desk. Tv stopped working but they were quick to respond. Mini fridge did not work at all. We didn’t call about it but would have been nice to have. Also very limited space for our clothes.

Dirty elevators. The carpet on the floor of the elevators are worn out and dirty and dust on the walls. Cheap atmosphere in the bar and breakfast room and lobby Definitively not worth the high price they are asking for

I have been in this hotel many times before 8-10 years earlier and it has transformed in a mediocre hotel. The good French restaurant is gone and the bar has changed into an ugly cheap atmosphere location. The rooms are still nice and clean, but no bar. The lobby has lost its atmosphere and the elevators are dirty. To be honest, this hotel needs a refit

Tv kept going in and out. The fridge is a wine cooler. The view wasn't perfect but because of the location that's understandable.

Beds were very comfortable but the pillows were a bit too soft. Check in wad smooth and they were very helpful. Location was perfect.

Room was ready but extra bed was not prepared as per our booking and we had to request that this be attended to and assist move things around in room to help speed along the process as it was taking quite some time to do it up. After a long flight we really just wanted to settle.

At 5 in the afternoon housekeeping had not cleaned our room. Conciërge did a poor job in booking a restaurant and most of all this hotel needs a revamping

I paid extra for a room upgrade to luxury. The leather headboard and desk chair were ripped and frayed. Very small thing, but if you pay extra for luxury I think it just means the view. The hotel had what they called room service, but it was items from the restaurant menu and if you ordered it you would have to pay $10 extra per order. This is fine if you want to, but I thought it would have been a little excessive to order a $9 bowl of oatmeal for breakfast and pay $19 for it plus a tip if I wanted breakfast in my PJ’s. One more small thing, I had a question about something related to my stay that I approached and emailed hotel staff with several times in my week stay. they constantly said they would get back to me with the answer and never did.

Exceptional location, one block from Metro. Beautiful, safe neighborhood. All of the people working for the hotel were great. The room was very clean. Hotel has a great restaurant. The view was of a beautiful ornate old building. Bed was extremely comfortable, the room was quiet, you didn’t hear any noise in the hallway or street. Shower was great. Loved the Nespresso coffee maker and coffee in the room. The room had a mini fridge that was empty so you could store any leftovers in it. There was complimentary water given each day.

Valet was a bit slothful and delayed when I needed my vehicle. But they eventually picked up the pace after we had to complain a bit.

I loved the Parisian style vibes, the ambiance, staff, room, location, everything was top tier!
