Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Upon entering the room first stop was the restroom. I turn on the light and saw a giant cockroach which had to be killed or else he would’ve entered the main room.

The breakfast was good with enough out. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Great location, one minute drive to my work pickup location.

The staff could have been a little friendlier. Our room was very close to the freeway. We heard traffic noise all night. The air conditioner was noisy when it came on. The bathroom door was very close to the toilet. The light switch to the bathroom was on the outside of the bathroom so when I got up at night to go to the bathroom I had to turn on the light by the sink and it was very bright in the room.
The breakfast was very good, location convenient to restaurants by car. Our room was very clean and bed was comfortable.

The highway noise from any room on the front of the building is insanely loud. The windows do little to stop the noise, and it was a very rough night!
Breakfast was just OK. Very few options overall, no oatmeal, limited fresh fruit, yogurt often out.

First of all, they couldn’t find our reservation that I made with you for 10 minutes. I had paid for it and the name was screwy in their system. Then they told us breakfast was from 6:30-10:30. We got down there at 9:20 and no food, no nothing!! The clerk told me it was only serving until 9:30, but yet it was already all cleaned up when we went there. So, we ended up checking out and going to Denny’s for breakfast. So we didn’t get the free “wonderful” breakfast that we paid for!! The worst thing was our room! This hotel is located right in front of the freeway and we were on the 3rd floor, facing the freeway and all you heard ALL night long was we TRAFFIC, even when I turned my phone on to sleeping music, it was so loud!! This was the worst hotel stay I have had in a long time!!! I was very upset to waste $140 for a night and then have to buy breakfast for another $25!!
The inside of the hotel was pretty.

Sometimes we could hear some of the noise from the traffic. I’m sure that is to be expected, since it is right next to the highway
We mostly liked the staff. They were so pleasant and accommodating. Even when we ended up getting there a day early, they were able to keep us in the same room.

The road noise was terrible. We were on the second floor, in an odd number. It was very, very loud all night. I suspect if you were in an even number it wouldn't have been as noticeable, as you couldn't hear it in the corridor. Breakfast was chaotic, it was very busy and there was one member of staff running around trying to refill everything.
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean.

I looked over every bit of the policies online... booking.com to make sure it didnt say anything about deposit! But upon checking in im surprised with a $50 deposit. I explained and even tried to show the concierge the booking and hotel policies listed online but she insisted that even though it wasn't mentioned online that it was irrelevant and that I had to pay it or lose the money i had already spent booking the room as its non-refundable.
