I wish parking would have been easier but overall could find a spot within a block.

I am always telling my friends and family that all I want is a plane to sit on my head. That's exactly what I got here. Planes landing directly overhead, seeing the planes pass by out the window. A short walk around the block reveals the airport runway. If you go a little further you can see downtown and a long full approach of the planet coming in. The stairs were a challenge with my 50lbs suitcase but that's also on me 🤣

Some of the furniture did have a little wear and tear not too bad but we were a little scared of damaging items that needed some repair.

It’s located right next to little Italy everything was really close by. Less than a 20 minute drive everywhere you go!

The *only* thing is that the building is *directly* under the flight path into the San Diego airport. It is no exaggeration to say that the planes were maybe 100 feet above the roof, every few minutes at the busiest time and the occasional planes flying over well after midnight. Packets of earplugs are right next to the bed, but if you are at all a light sleeper, this might not be the place for you. In this sense, I think it's a little overpriced, but I know SD is an expensive city.

Basic studio with all that you'd really need -- toiletries, iron and ironing board, fridge and microwave, dishware. I liked that the hosts left soft drinks and chocolate in the fridge to welcome me. Thoughtful setup, television had all of the major streaming apps ready to go. Good communication re accessing the unit via email. I really liked the residential neighborhood, but with good access on foot or by bus into the heart of downtown. Nice views of Mission Bay, and you can feel the sea breeze. That part was all good.

Unreliable internet. I told the host and they shrugged it off, and provided poor customer service. Then they ask me to give them a good rating. 😅 if I had known about the shortages before hand, I would have been able to accomodate it. It is 2025, internet is a basic necessity! The housekeeping also was unreliable. And the red pillows had a weird smell.

My only minor complaint is that parking in the area can be a bit challenging at times, but the convenience and quality of the studio more than made up for it.

They provided great recommendations for local dining and activities, which made my trip even more memorable.
