Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomEverything was very good, so nothing more to add.
The check in experience was excellent. Jeffrey at reception deserves a special mention with his cheerfulness and great personality. It's exactly what you need when checking in after a long journey. He was great and helpful during our stay. The room was very nice and the hotel location was great for our concert at MSG. Also the changing facilities when we were leaving for home were very good. Nice well stocked bar as well.

SpainFor 10 days, breakfast was the same every day, so it became boring. Breakfast time was crowded and noisy because there were many people. It was a specific "problem" with the payment; I complained about it and they helped me out very quickly, but this shouldn't happen with customers.
We stayed 10 nights at the hotel. Located 3/4 blocks from Times Square and 1 block from the subway station, we found it easy to move around in New York. Many facilities are available at the hotel, including a gym, breakfast, washing machines, a bar, and free coffee and water. Our room was a queen room, so for us it was a good size and provided us with adequate facilities. The hotel is really good for families, it was good value for money.

ItalyThe hotel is located in a perfect location to visit NYC for the first time; most of the best attractions are a few steps from the hotel.

Australia34th Street / Midtown is in the middle of it all, so expect piles of trash on the street at random times during the week. There are unfortunately also people sitting on the street regularly.
Friendly staff, free daily breakfast and super clean room. We stayed here for 9 nights and the front desk gave a “larger” room considering the length of our stay so we really appreciate that! We were also pleasantly surprised by how quiet the room was at night. Super close to Penn station.

United KingdomThe included breakfast is average and the savoury breakfast buffet is poor. Breakfast could be improved. In the room there was a constant noise from the air-recycling fan. The hotel technician told us that the noise is normal and it is present in all the rooms. Sometimes we woke up at night due to that noise. I would choose another hotel next time I'll be in New York.
The room was clean and the place is very central. The staff is available and gentle.

PolandBusy breakfast even at 7 am, but it’s a huge hotel… Really didn’t like the scent used in the lobby..luckily the room didn’t have it.
Spacious room for NYC standard. Even with a desk and a couch. Great shower and bathroom with plenty of space for storage. Very clean. Fitness room in basement is huge with good selection of cardio equipment and others. Breakfast selection ok, not only ‘sweet’ stuff. Possibility to eat outside.

United KingdomBreakfast was adequate if not great, but can't complain as it is included in the room price so saves money. Not a pretty street but very convenient location. True there are some homeless people in the area, or perhaps just stoned given that cannabis use is decriminalised now in NY - but I didn't feel unsafe.
Quiet room on the 14th Floor. Didn't find the wait for lifts to be too long, compared to other reviewers. Good Wi Fi. All staff I met were friendly. Would return.

United StatesToo hot, A/C was terrible for that size room. Getting ready was quite uncomfortable but at least we had a fan for sleeping.
The room was great, comfy bed, nice desk place to sit put on makeup. Nice full length mirror. Bathroom was very nice. Love the tiled wall behind the lit mirror!!! And the open shelving over the toilet. Very convenient place to be your things. Very nice shower. Only drawback was the room was very hot especially while getting ready. At least for sleeping they did bring us a fan and they took something off the bill. That was nice, but tbh, I’d rather paid full price and had decent A/C. But staff was great, very friendly and helpful. Great stay, I’d come back and recommend to friends.

SpainIt’s the second time that i’m in this hotel, and this time the room that we have given has been smaller than the other one. We did the booking one month before and the night of our arrival they had no king rooms left. They gave us the smallest room in the hotel, so i complained because it wasn’t what we had booked, and they they gave us a double queen. But i had to complained first
