Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ArgentinaThe hotel is very well located, the rooms have a fridge, a coffe maker and a microwave oven. Their breakfast is excellent, with good variety and the stock is constantly replenished. The staff is friendly and tries to make guests as comfortable as possible. Excellent choice for any traveler going to Manhattan, a short walk from Penn Station and Port Authority.

LithuaniaExtremely overcrowded, this also makes the whole lobby unpleasant place to be. Breakfast area not fitting the amount of rooms hotel has.
Good placed, room overall in a good and modern equipment, daily cleaning services in a high quality. On saturday morning, there was a live music playing. Breakfast selection and quality at a good level.

United KingdomThis is no fault of the hotel or staff but with a significant amount of cannabis shops in the vicinity of the hotel some areas feel a little uncomfortable from time to time especially at night.
We absolutely loved the hotel. The staff, including Jeffrey, Christian with the Mohawk, Ryan at the check-in desk and Daniel the security guard all were amazing from the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left. The room was perfectly adequate for us although I can see where people travelling with large suitcases might find the rooms small. But they were clean and kept clean by the friendly domestic staff. And furthermore, in a city like New York, how much time do you want to spend in your room!! Breakfast was kept stocked up and had plenty of options. We might have travelled in a quieter period but there was always plenty of space to sit. Some comments on this site have been about the poor lift situation, and yes, with only two lifts you can wait from time to time but we were more than happy to walk the stairs to our room despite being on the ninth floor. We might have had to stop occasionally though! Overall it was a perfect stay within walking distance of many attractions. We would definitely stay here again in the future! And finally, the free happy hour from 17:00-18:00 daily was a perfect added bonus.

New ZealandThe hotel room was super cold even turning the heating as high as it could go still left the room cold. Attempted to call through to housekeeping and to front desk however none answered the call. There is no seating for breakfast so good luck. I just grabbed food and took it to my room.
Loved the breakfast and the location close to penn station and Madison square garden 15 min walk to Times Square

United KingdomThere could have been hooks to hang coats on in the rooms, as they are not huge it would have made a difference to be able to hang up coats in the bedroom. Additionally hooks are needed in the bathroom to hang towels up to be used again. Also, at breakfast it would be nicer to have real plates and cutlery, instead of paper plates and wooden cutlery.
The location of the hotel was great, and despite being in Manhattan, the rooms were reasonably sized and very quiet! The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast included was great, we would definitely recommend.

GreeceI didn't like the toilet door as it was quite thin. If you have plenty of luggage, the room might feel small, but the bed is comfortable and big. The breakfast location wasn’t so big for the people but if you avoid the rush hours it’s ok.I hold a slight reservation as I haven't received the deposit amount back, and I'm unaware if there will be any hidden charges.
We really liked the location. Although we had read mediocre reviews about the breakfast, we liked it a lot. The staff was friendly, and the cleanliness was daily. Also the gym is super !

Fantastic location! Many attractions are within walking distance (15-20 minutes), and Penn Station is only 5 minutes away. We had a room with two queen beds. The room was small but the beds were comfortable. The staff was efficient and kind.

United KingdomI specifically booked these rooms as they had a sofa in. However the room I was given had no sofa so I have already raised a complaint with booking.com as I would not have booked it Also the bathroom only has a Sliding door which only pulls across and is opposite the bed so very little privacy Breakfast was too busy - not enough seats for number of guests so didn’t eat here Only 2 lifts to serve 14 floors so always a queue

AustraliaBusyness of breakfast- the space was not enough, and the food options were not topped up frequently especially in the busier times.
Excellent location, good size comfortable rooms. The hotel bar and lobby were always busy (but in a good way). Plenty of opportunities to relax after a hard day’s sightseeing! Rooms were well equipped, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was a bit of a nightmare- sooo busy at times that the food options ran out and took a long time to be replaced (if at all). One day there was no butter available! Mum market is available 24/7 and can help if you have any urgent ’needs’ (like chocolate at 2am!) Very easy to get to the main attractions either via walking or on the subway. Right around the corner from Maddison Square Gardens. If you choose to have breakfast at the hotel, get up early (go in your PJ’s if needed- it’s a thing!)

United StatesSometimes there is a wait for the elevator, but that’s a standard issue in NYC hotels.
It is walking distance from the Moynihan Train Station and close to subway stops. The property itself is very nice and well organized. Staff is exceptionally friendly, kind, and accommodating, among the best in NYC.
