Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelToo many homeless and junkies around. This is really scary. Understood that it is out of your control but something should be done. Elevators are slow but nothing impossible.
The hotel is centrally located in Manhattan. All the facilities are in great conditions and staff very friendly. Perfect for family and the breakfast was great.

United Arab EmiratesThe breakfast room is a bit small when the hotel is at full capacity. Also the use of paper plates and plastic cutlery is not the best for the environment.
From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, all the staff we met during our stay have been super friendly, helpful and caring. We loved the Wine and Cheese Happy Hour every evening, what a fabulous initiative. The hotel is very well situated, close to many places and attractions, close to citi bike stations and subway.

United KingdomBreakfast was not the best, not a large cooked selection and relatively small dining aea for the number of guests.
Everything else was great, and in particular the service from the hotel staff was fantastic. Located very close to subway line used for most tourist attractions.

AustraliaThe room was very small, there was no room for large suitcases and very little storage for clothes. A small sofa was meant to provide a sitting area separate from the bedroom, but the large unit partitioning the 2 areas ( & held the safe, bar fridge, kettle, iron & ironing board), actually made both spaces too small, impractical and uncomfortable. We used the sofa for our clothes. It would have been better for the unit to have been placed along the wall rather than protruding into the room.
Great location, close to transport and walking distance to many NYC tourist attractions, restaurants, and convenience stores. Very friendly & helpful staff. Great buffet breakfast and nightly Happy Hour included. Guest laundry on-site was very handy.

United StatesI hate, absolutely hate, this trend of having sliding barn door-style bathroom doors installed because rooms and bathrooms are so small that there’s no space for the door to swing open. It’s plain weird not having a bathroom door that shuts with a discernible sound. Please at least install a sliding latch! Also, breakfast room was overly crowded - like it was everyone’s last free meal of their lives. Talk about a feeding frenzy! And no business center at which to print out a boarding pass.
The location to Penn Station is a plus. Desk clerk Jeffrey Wright was exceptionally congenial and welcoming!

United StatesThe water was leaking from shower sink, which has a crack before but seems like the glue didn't do a great job holding the water so the carpet in that area is always moist. But it kinda added moisture in the room so room is not dry😂😅. But fixing it would be great since it might cause ceiling/roof/structure problems?
Love the happy hour and morning breakfast. Love the friendly staff the most, also met all our requests.

United StatesQuirky entrance, rooms were small, fruit flies in shower, door lock did not work, smoke alarm had annoying light, air conditioner was loud and TV “custom” greeting never had my name, mandatory “free” breakfast was a disaster.

AustriaThe breakfast room was always pretty crowded, no matter, at which time we had breakfast. The corridors were not clean. We always had to wait a long time for the elevators. If you live on one of the upper floor levels, that can be tedious.
The room itself and the batroom were clean, but on the corridors it was not clean. The breakfast offered enough variety of food, from cereals to baguels, croissants and scrambled eggs. The location was excellent for our requirements: It is easy to get there from Newark Liberty International Airport, we booked a driver via Booking.com, because we wanted a fast transfer to our hotel after an exhausting transatlantic flight. Subway stations are very close, Times Square, many Broaway theaters, the Empire State Building and the "Highline" are all in walking distance. Also in walking distance: the relatively new observation deck "The Edge". Supermarkets, fast food restaurants and coffee shops are very close, too.

United StatesThey should have complementary coffee avaliable, to me as a coffee lover was a downside. They do have a little machine in the room but it's not the same thing.
The check in desk very courteous and very very pleasant, in this case it was Christopher and after everyone else. Good security on arrival and after. Staff always available and always with a smile. With 24h laundry and gym, excellent. Also many different local restaurants around, walking distance, very nice.
