Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaThere were a few things that could have been better, but we did not bring any of these up with the hotel since we were out all day and too tired during the night to care too much: - the AC was very loud. Very loud. Since it uses a thermostat, from time to time it would start during the night. If you are a light sleeper this WILL wake you up. - breakfast was somewhat diverse, but not particularly healthy. 0 vegetable options, 2 same fruits every day (bananas and oranges). Mostly pastries and processed foods. - they require a 300 USD deposit which were blocked from my account and it took exactly 15 calendar days for them to revert the transaction. - during one of the days we noticed that room service actually emptied the bathroom bin into the toilet and did not flush. There were plastic packages there that are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.
Location is very good for someone who is visiting central Manhattan. Almost all main attractions are in walking distance (more or less). Gym was not very diverse (no rack available), but still better than what most hotels call a gym. Hotel staff quite friendly.

United Statesroom very small, but okay for 2 nites, mysterious, wet spots, very spongey near bathroom and sink , maintenance checked it out, but I was told , they could not identify the cause of wet spots. This problem showed up on our 2nd day, before checkout.

United StatesOur room had a mechanical noise going on all night. (They switched us to another room when we asked). We were in a handicapped accessible room (not needed) and the bathroom floor flooded from the short shower curtain. The elevators were always packed and some didn't go to all floors. Also, you had to access your floor via your key, but numerous times it didn't accept the key. Annoying.
Great location near Penn Station. When I had an issue with my room, the staff was quick to take care of it.

GermanyWe did not like the breakfast that much as it was a little bland
The hotel was really nice. The room we got was well equipped. The cleaning team must have missed a little towel on the shower curtain, but otherwise it was really clean. The whole team was very polite, friendly and attentive :) And it's just a ten minute walk to NY's Penn Station, which is very convenient

United KingdomThe area is very bad, dirty, many homeless people in need of help and under the effect of drug. We saw many people unconscious on the pavements. New York was very disappointing and we were happy to return to London.
The hotel is comfortable, centrally located, clean and safe. Breakfast is basic but acceptable. Plastic forks, knives and spoons should not be used.

IrelandThere was nothing to say that I didn't like about the hotel.
Its location is central to a lot of the tourist attractions. It is a short walk from the nearest subway station if you choose the cheaper and quicker option to or from the airport.

United Statesunfortunately every day there was a huge school group of kids over 75-1000 that would eat everything and make a mess everywhere. I felt so bad for the staff that did a great job cleaning up and trying to re stock everything. The room was very small which I know is common in New York . also a little bit of a bigger fridge would have went a long way. We only had one group of kids on our floor so lucky it was only kind of loud untill about 10pm.
The breakfast was good when it wasn’t emptied by the school groups that were there everyday. The staff was great and so helpful with directions and just suggesting things and places to visit / eat. Everyone we talked to was friendly and willing to help with anything we needed!

New ZealandThe neighbourhood is a bit "hoody" as in slightly rough and it's pricey but everything in NYC is pricey, it's a fair option if you want central and convenient.
This is reasonable compared to what's available in central Manhattan and it's a comfortable, safe secure stay with easy access to subway and bus terminal.
