Half of the mattress was badly sagging, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep on. I only discovered this at night when I went to bed. The bed is the most important part of a hotel stay — every hotelier knows that. The ice machine on the floor was out of order. Around the pool, almost all the lights were broken, and exposed wires were within reach of any child. This is a serious safety hazard.

Quite bad ventilation, thus in room co2 level with 4 people quickly went above 1500, so we needed to open window, but as it is close to motorway then it was quite loud with open window. Breakfast was just ok.

Location close to Houston space center, and also close to big road, so was easy to go to Rodeo. Very good that bathroom and toilet are 2 separate rooms, thus if stay 4 people then less queuing.

I didn’t experience anything negative during our stay.

The hotel was very clean. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and lots of selections. The Bar and bartenders were amazing and was a relaxing place to go after a busy day. Loved having the shower and the toilet in different places which allowed our family to get ready faster for the day.

Our bed had a divot in it and made both my husband and my back hurt.

It was close to everything we wanted to do and had great restaurants nearby. Hotel is clean and rooms are spacious.

There is no option for a crib for babies. The shower needs some cleaning and the mattress is too soft, it is not possible to rest well.

The alarm clock did not work. The Ethernet connection for my laptop did not work, neither did Wi-Fi. The breakfast lobby could be more spacious, it lines up quick and gets dirty fast. There is no staff to clean up right away. So you are forced to sit in a table where some family with 8 kids left a mess.

The room was large and spacious, toilets worked well and felt overall clean. The location is ideal. I felt safe.

It wasn't my first choice of hotel (I didn't need a suite) but the others I considered were booked. I felt the room was very overpriced. (I'm also a Marriott Bonvoy member and I always book directly with the hotel, but in this case Booking.com was $150 cheaper!) I understand the hotel is undergoing renovation, and my room was clearly one that hadn't been renovated yet. The shower room door handle came off and the room as a whole was very tired and worn looking. I don't think it's fair to charge full price for a lesser quality room like that. The microwave didn't work properly and both the fridge and AC unit were extremely noisy. I had to get up in the night and shut off the AC because I couldn't sleep through the noise. Also - the pool, which I was really looking forward to, was absolutely tiny. There was a family of five in there one day that took up the entire pool. I didn't ever get to use it. Breakfast was very basic. The waffle maker was fun but the muffins tasted weird - possibly gluten free? I ate a couple of bananas but did not try the boiled eggs or bagels. I'm sure "breakfast included" is factored into the room rate, so again I think it's unfair to pay a "hidden" charge for a breakfast I'm not going to eat. I'd rather just pay if/when I eat it, like I would in a restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was in town to visit my dad in a nearby hospital so the hotel was very convenient. Parking was free and plentiful and I was able to park my dad's car right out front every time, which made me feel safe. And free wifi is always nice, especially when travelling from abroad.

The location is excellent. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. NASA and Kemah Broadwalk are less than 15 minutes driving distance.

Only cons are the rolling doors for bathrooms are heavy and loud. The shower door leaked. We also had to make my daughters trundle bed ourselves. Other than that our stay was very nice.

We liked the breakfast but the worker was definitely overworked to take care of so many diners. Staffing another individual during breakfast was most needed. There was a time when there was absolutely no food available one morning. The poor worker just could not handle the crowd.

The suites were perfect for five people. Checkin very smooth. There were always bananas available during breakfast and even during the day. This does not happen at many hotels.
