Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bathtub faucet lever (cold to hot) was loose when using shower. Needs some fixing. Cold water had unevenly circulated with hot water

Only styrofoam plates were provided. It would be nice to have paper plates availble for hot waffles.

I had very bad allergies when staying in this hotel. The carpets might need to be updated. The breakfast was not good.

Well the breakfast was a lot better in the past as it doesn't include what it did prior, and that is one of the main reason we stop there is because of the breakfast.
Location was good for me as I was towing a 30ft SXS trailer and there is plenty of parking. Denny's is right next door and the motel is about half a mile of main interstate

Would’ve been nice to be able to crack the window a little bit got kind of stuffy
Location was very good. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Pool was surprisingly nice. Good size good temperature of water as well.

The staff. very rude and hostile during check-in. A bit expensive for what you get. If you get a room on the 2nd floor, prepare to take the stairs (no elevators).
It's my second stay here; the room was quite big, beds were comfy, for a one night stay it's was quite OK. Walk distance for dinner options.

Can't think of anything.
Usual breakfast fare with indoor & outdoor seating. Plenty of other restaurants very nearby. Pleasant staff. Comfortable rooms. Didn't use the pool, but people seemed to be enjoying it.

Only one complaint - people/kids stomping around upstairs one night; otherwise, we would definitely stay here again!
Outdoor pool was really nice, clean and well-maintained. Full breakfast was very good, but got a little boring after four nights (quality was very good though!)

We liked the room, clean, comfortable and plenty of room for 2 people and 1 dog. The continental breakfast was decent enough with the enough choices to pick from.

The fan in our bathroom wasn't on but continually made a sound like an animal was in there or something. Again, the tile flooring was not my favorite, hard on the feet and cold, but I understand why the hotel would do that in a pet-friendly room. Our blowdryer also nearly started on fire. My daughter turned it on to dry her hair after swimming and it made a horrible grinding noise and started smoking. It was a little traumatic for her as she is younger and wasn't sure what to do.
Room set up was different, not your typical set up but it didn't bother me. Access to our room was convenient and the kids enjoyed the pool. We were traveling with a pet so I assume that is why we had tile floors throughout the room, that was uncomfortable and hard on our feet but I can see the convenience of doing that from the hotel's point of view.
