Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Unfortunately, paper thin walls…. you could hear from the vacuums of the staff cleaning early down the hall in the morning, to the guest sneezing next door.
Great atmosphere and close to everything within walking distance!

Coffee machine in the bedroom would be a good addition It should be possible to charge meals taken at Zucca to the room.
Heritage Hotel in a good location. Room simple but well done; excellent bed. Well appointed bathroom. Zucca Italian restaurant excellent; also serves breakfast.

Our room this time wasn’t as nice. There was a leak in the bathroom right above the toilet and the bed was super creaky & loud.
The staff is always amazing and the place was always smells great!

The tile in the bathroom needed to be cleaned with clorox . Although it smelled very nice in the hallway and the room, it had some mildew between the tile of the bathroom.

Under the bed could have been cleaned better but that's a small thing and only noticed when checking we left nothing behind
The room was so lovely, well styled and modern beautiful bathroom. The building character is stunning including the old style lift The staff were lovely and we had the best stay The room was well cleaned The location was great, we lovely food stops around. It was easy to get to and from by taxi and a good distance to all parts of miami including mimai beach (30ish min), dolphin mall (30ish mins), the everglades (45 mins) and airport (15mins)

the poor information and service that we where given by 1 of the persons in reception. every time we asked something neither she knew that to say or had the intention or service attitude. for example we asked about the breakfast at the restaurant that it’s in the same building, her answered was “we are two completely different companies I have no idea”. As someone is in reception I would have expected for her to not know the answered but have the intention on helping us and that was not the vibe we got.

I would have very much appreciated an iron in the room.
Location is second to none. Staff was nice and helpful. Check out time by 12pm is great with many hotels now operating 11am checkout policy. Beautiful building.

no full mirror in bedrooms & no magnifying mirror in bathroom. Thought it a shame because before when I’ve stayed it was with a complimentary continental breakfast & now they say u have to pay 1/2 of the price. I thought it was a nice touch when it was included.
I love the 2 restaurants & bars. location is great.

One surly desk clerk. All the rest of the staff seemed happy to help and glad we were there.
It was much nicer, newer, up to date than expected. It is a lovely facility. I will go back

We did not get the continental breakfast because it was too pricey. The coffee was in the lobby downstairs and it was not hot. That should be improved for the price we payed to stay there.
We liked the fact that the restaurant was right there and it was excellent. We went there for dinner which was very convenient.
