Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomGreat setup for a hostel - the curtained off areas make it feel like separate rooms which is nicer then the bunk style. Large spacious communal areas that are clean and comfy and lots of convenient amenities.

Great location. Less than 5 min walk from the Trolly train. Check in at 4pm. The downstairs area is a common area for anyone staying. They have a pool table, a TV and a kitchen area. Upstairs is another common area with tables to eat or work at. The men have two Bathrooms. One is a private br with a shower sink and toilet. The other has 3 private showers and toilet stalls. The showers are great and soap is provided. The rooms have many different quarters for everyone staying. The queen bed option is very comfortable. The bed is against the wall and still leaves about 3 feet till the other wall. The rooms are 3 walls and a curtain. The curtain is in front where a door would be. It’s the only hostel I’ve seen where you feel like you’re in a private room. You are also provided a locker. The staff are fantastic and the other people who stay there are good. Never heard a problem the 18 nights I’ve stayed there over the last 2 months. Washer and dryer are also available. The price ranges from $42-$53 a night. It does fill up fast sometimes. I highly recommend it. The photos are a great representation of how it really looks. Spring for the queen bed room over the twin. The twin has no room once you get out of the bed

I like that is an actual bed and not bunk beds for a hostel. Also, the curtains add privacy which is nice to have. The bed was confortable and clean. I also liked that you had towels. Fresh brew coffee in the morning. They also have washer and drier which is useful if you been traveling for a while like me. Great location. Close to downtown. I will surely stay here again on my next visit.

United StatesThe spaces where pretty cold.
Space was very good for a hostel as you get a full bed, and some wiggle room for a backpack, clothes, and just stretching a bit. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in San Diego.

United StatesThere was absolutely nothing I didn't like. I look forward to my next stay.
It was an amazing place to crash between flights coming into Tijuana and leaving from San Diego very early the next morning, I had approximately 8 hours to rest and staying in a traditional hotel didn't present benefits commensurate with cost. I have had extremely mixed experiences with hostels in the United States, but have used them abroad so gave this place the benefit of a doubt. The concept reminded me of a combination of capsule hotel that I have stayed in when visiting Japan, and traditional hostel I've stayed in elsewhere in the world. The place exceeded my expectations and I would consider staying here again in the future. The place was extremely clean and comfortable, and the others in my dorm honored quiet hours without exception. The location is great, I am from another big West coast city (Seattle) so the unhoused folks around the area didn't faze me a bit. Very walkable to Gaslamp, and accessible to public transit to other areas of the city. The unhoused crisis is unfortunately a fact of life in the United States at this moment in time; if this concerns you, exercise some caution and you will be fine.
