Very cold air conditioner .. we actually unplugged it. And no coffee in the room.

Location was amazing. Clean room and when asked if we cold have a room in the st floor we were accommodated.

Only a couple pumps of soap in dispensers, no paper towels and the broom was unfortunately not the best for the amount of sand that is going to end up in the house.

Perfect for an overnight or weekend but it’s be hard to stay longer with limited kitchen resources

The view of the beach and water is perfection. We stayed 1 night and it was great. The kitchen aspect of our little 1 room lacked cooking resources but we didn’t plan on cooking. It’s worth the location and the beach was quiet and pretty private.

Didn’t like the county tax charge. The price was surprising as we expected some tax but not 14+%. There were cob webs in the corners. The ceiling fan in one bedroom was too noisy to use. A slight musty smell when you first enter. Beds weren’t made and expected towels and washcloths but had to ask for them.

It was nice and roomy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The signs outside were very helpful. The beach area was clean and comfortable. We had to leave due to a family emergency and they were very cooperative in providing a one day refund. Very grateful!

Our unit in the 8-plex, which included a small "kitchenette" was adequately furnished. However, the unit had a lot of deferred maintenance issues (e.g., bathroom faucet aerator was so badly plugged, the water only sprayed out from the sides rather than down; the screen on one of the windows was bent and falling out; there was sand on the top sheet of the king side bed immediately beneath the blanket; the ceiling fan was extremely noisy; and broom and dustpan was not provided so was unable to remove the sand which was unavoidably tracked in from the beach.

The waterfront location, beach area, and children's playgrounds were unbeatable! Individual cabins looked nice from outside but since we stayed in the waterfront 8-plex unit, we did not see inside the cabins.

Very old chairs(ripped and faded) and furniture. Mattresses were also aged, very springy and loud. No dressers, or storage area and lack of hangers in small closet. Wifi was not working, decent place but pricey for what it was.

all cottages are not actually on the sand, but have a short walk to the beach. the septic system is touchy. no towels available, but luckily I read other reviews to know to bring some. well water, so bring drinking water if needed. not a deal breaker though.

The listing doesn’t have pics that are up to date so when we booked, I had no idea what to expect as we waited until last minute to find a place for a family reunion, I was very nervous the cabins are a bit older and need some updating. example: the fridge in Cabin 10 was rusty in and out and there are barely any electric outlets anywhere to plug phones or hairdryers in, but overall, I would stay there again.

The rooms were really small, bathroom was extremely small and toilet was barely working. Stove did not turn on. The whole resort was invested with bite flies (granted it was the entire area of Michigan that was experiencing this) but I believe there was something the resort could've sprayed to minimize the exposure of these flies. We sat inside most nights and our kids did not want to play as much because we were all getting bitten.

We always have a great trip! It’s a great price for beachfront! We were a bit disappointed that the Cable did not work, but aside from that, it was great! We have stayed here before and will continue to!

I got the okay to have an early check in at 2 pm then arrived and told the owner was not there and would be back in an hour and check in time is at 4pm. I explained that I had a early check in. I left with my family and returned in an hour and the owner (i guess the only one that could check me in) still was not there. I was told a staff member was on her way and it would be 15 minutes. At 4pm still no one was there to check us in, I did send an email to Paul (who approved and early check in) and never received a response. Some time after 4 maybe 4:20pm someone pulled up to where I was told the owner parked and told me that someone should be able to check me in. Apparently at some point a worker went in but I didn't know and the worker who had been giving me information did not say anything to me about going in and checking in. It was a 4 hour drive if I had known that we were not going to be able to check in early I would have adjusted my travel time. Once I got my key, it didn't open the door and I had to go back down to the office to get a different key. The check in process was horrible, clearly there is a lack of communication with the staff about early check ins and checking anyone in at all. Why only one person can check people in is crazy to me. The fact that Paul never answered the my email about the whole check in process just makes me feel like they do not care. The room was nice, stairs look to need work. We had a broken swing on the porch, seems like they should have removed that, it took up space we could have used. The great lake is beautiful but that has nothing to do with the resort. I will not be back to this resort. I stayed somewhere else last year which was not as nice as far as a room but communication and follow through were much better at the other place.

It needed some rehab, especially the bathroom. A good scrubbing everywhere wouldn't go amiss. The furniture should be tossed out to the curb. It was worn , ripped, and dirty.

Poorly maintained,needs serious updating. The community, game, building was horrible. Looks abandoned, unusable.

Location to the beach and town for necessary items like groceries. Playgrounds for the kids.

Stayed in one of the rooms vs the cabins. Very clean with some updates. Bed was extremely comfortable and I got a great nights sleep. Two steps out the door was the beach. Absolutely loved the location! Owner was very nice and informative. Fire pits on the beach with wood for sale. But grab one early as other guests gobbled them up quickly.
