Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very poor cleanliness standards, lack of maintenance, worn & shabby despite being a fairly new facility, way overpriced for what it is, & very noisy.
The staff were very friendly & tried to be accommodating.

For overnight travelers, there should have been available shampoo, hair dryer, coffee maker with coffee and tea.

This property was a newer version of Motel 6 and was located in an industrial park. No breakfast offered; however, coffee was offered between 2-6pm in lobby. No toiletries except for hand soap. No hair dryer. No Kleenex. No closet. Had to hang clothes on hooks on wall. No swimming pool. Asked for quiet room and although this was a property with a lot of rooms and few guests (for the evening we stayed there), a very noisy guest was assigned the room just above us and was very noisy for the entire stay. Should have asked for a different room but kept thinking the guest would quiet down. Appeared to be a homeless couple living in their car just across from the parking lot boundary and was concerned about that. Not a comfortable feeling. No paper towels in kitchen. Minimal fast food dining options located on opposite side of the street which was a busy highway. Will stay in Reno next time.
Compact kitchen w/full size refrigerator. Included a microwave and two-burner stove with dishes, pots, pans, silverware, etc. provided upon request. Comfortable bed and cozy dining table. Included a laundry room but not for free. Check-in staff efficient and cheerful as well as housekeeping staff. Vinal flooring. Good WiFi. Good parking.

Room was not clean. The bench seating at the table was dirty with candy from a previous guest with kids, I am assuming. Room did not have enough chairs to accommodate visiting friends who had to come to me, since I could not/would not leave pets in room alone. I was moving and not familiar with the area. This came up on a search for Sparks, so I assumed it would be in Sparks ... not so. It was a good ways, 20 minutes or so, out of Reno, which made it difficult for Reno friends to visit for dinner on my stay over.
I liked that pets were allowed and management was able to accommodate/allow my 4 cats and 2 dogs between our two rooms. I liked having a kitchenette.

The shower floor was very stained and the walls had stuff on them that should have been wiped off. There was also a lot of dust and the floors felt like they needed a good mop.
For the price it was a nice place and had a very spacious room.

We stay in the back of the motel on the first floor so that we can take our 2 small dogs out to potty. However, the back door was broken. Kitchen sink sprayed water and bathroom sink faucet was ringed with dirt.

Prices changing, charged me for a two bed that sleeps 2-4 and then later charge me additional charge for my daughter, talking about after the 2nd person they charge $10 a person after. Why would a married couple need a two bed alone. We sleep in a bed my daughter sleeps in other , so why charge $10 more. The room was fitted for us three in the beginning. But always they charge something not aware of and out of sorts.
Michelle the front desk help was the most gracious house out of the whole set of employees, she genuinely cares for the guests. The others are complete opposite, very unknowledgable, rude, and don't care to visit again.

our room had boarding passes on the table, used soap, garbage, and used wash cloth on counter. Staff was very kind and no complaints with that. We just weren’t confident the room was clean. had the bed not looked made by staff we would likely have not stayed but we had been traveling 15 hours and just wanted to shower and sleep.
