All was Fantastic!

Karen the GM was attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating. Views were magnificent! The complimentary chairs and towels for the beach a welcomed addition. About a blocks walk to restaurants and shops. We loved our stay in the 3 bedroom suite on the 8th floor.

The main room where the aircondiitoning unit is can be noisy.

Excellent accommodations. Rooms are very clean. Beds comfortable. Staff are all very nice. Washer and dryer in room very handy. Very close to beachfront.

Another remarkable stay! The staff is always so pleasant. The hotel is exceptionally well maintained. I will continue to choose The Avalon Club for every stay in Clearwater Beach.

The only thing was the skylight in one of the bedrooms of the room we were in the 8th floor. Maybe find a way to put a screen, activated by a wall switch or a rod you can move.

The property was very clean, accesible, with close proximity to the beach as well.

While the tv has a thousand channels thru Roku and a few apps (netflix, disney, etc.), it did not have basic channels such as NBC, ABC, CBS, ESPN, etc. We were unable to watch any sporting events in our room. We could have added our own app that we have service to, such as ESPN +, Direct TV, etc., but you required a PIN to add apps to the Roku device, and the front desk wasn't allowed to give this out. If we had known this ahead of time, we would have brought our own fire stick, etc., to be able to access these channels.

The location, room, cleanliness, and staff were excellent. The food and drinks at the pool were great, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I didn’t like about this day was they allow dogs which in itself is fine, but I had to complain twice people and the dogs in the room and the dog barks for hours on end. For $500 a night, it should not sound like a kennel. And if you have a baby like we do, it’ was difficult to put the baby down for a nap. The staff was very attentive. I have to say they immediately called the guest with the barking dog however, it did be continue to be an issue.

Super clean, nice two bedroom suites very close to the beach, kitchen living room, wonderful and two balconies. Nice to have a lounge on the second floor with coffee and tea complementary the rooftop deck on floor five is very nice in the pool.

The pool area had poor drainage. We had bags on the floor by our sunbeds and loads of water had splashed out of the pool. It didn't drain away and the bags were sitting in the water.

The beachfront location was perfect.

The only concern is when you have multiple guests with more than one car the parking can be challenging unless the Avalon staff are able to accommodate. The facility only has one parking spot per unit. However, in our case they were able to provide us with an extra private parking spot for fee, however, we felt it was better than paying for a less secure public parking spot.

Pool was small but didn’t really use because beach was so accessible

The location is a bit isolated. However, this could be a positive if that is what you're looking for.

Not enough chairs in room common area and sofa not comfortable. Nowhere to hang towels, which is environmentally unfriendly. Need to check umbrellas - some broken. A few small changes would make a 4 star a five star!
