We are 2 family , and this hotel was perfect. Very clean , new rooms and bathrooms. Very quiet. Excellent location , you can visit everything on walk from the hotel. Very kind also all the people that work at the reception, we will come back the next time we will visit NY. Thank you very much

Our plane was late and we had a late check in on Friday night. We emailed the hotel. There were 2 couples ahead of us for check in. They were having problems with credit cards. We had to wait 30mins— we almost missed our evening appointment. The doorman checked us in.

Everything about our stay was top notch. The hotel is beautiful from the artwork to the furniture. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom with all marble floors. Great little fridge with drinks. A few snacks and flavored water in the lobby. The staff was friendly and professional. They had umbrella you could borrow and robes. Such a wonderful location. Could walk to Everything - shopping, restaurants and not too far from Broadway. Highly recommend.

Very few peeves: no washcloth- only a single black one, presumably for removing makeup. We requested a second one and received it only to have it taken away the next day by the cleaning staff. Also the sink water temperature was difficult to moderate, but the shower was fine. None of this was a big deal considering everything else was great.

Beautifully restored building, comfortable lobby, lovely spacious room and bathroom. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed having the “extras” such as robes, slippers and—highly unusual for NY—complimentary snacks and soft drinks! Staff was helpful and pleasant, and we loved the jazz music in the lobby. Great location too. Right near Grand Central for food and shopping, within walking distance to many shops, museums and attractions.

Location near everything. Walkable to Times Square and other attractions. One block from bus pickup for EWR. Staff was super friendly(Sabra especially). Everyone went out of the way to make us feel appreciated and welcome.

Housekeeping completed late on a couple of occasions, often past 4pm so when we came back to the room after a full day out, the room hadn’t yet been serviced.

I recently stayed at The Chemists Club Hotel with my girlfriend and had an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—every staff member was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay special. The room was beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable, still smelling fresh because the whole hotel just went into renovation. The attention to detail was impressive, from the luxurious bedding to the thoughtful amenities provided. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore manhattan, next to Grand Central. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and we can’t wait to return and we will be back here for sure.

Unbeatable location, right by grand central station. Staff are so friendly and the room was stunning and quite large for New York standards. Gorgeous hotel and it had a lovely gym too. Can’t recommend enough. Christopher helped us out with getting taxis etc and was so friendly.

The only weak spot was the shower as the pressure was very weak. it worked but it wasnt great. a second treadmill would be nicea s its a big hotel to have only one treadmill.

Exquisite historical hotel steps from Grand Central Station, large room with high ceilings and marble bathroom, completely void of outside noise, beautiful large terrace, comfortable bed with exceptional down pillows and duvet and linens.
