Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I know the hotel can't always control who there guests are,but there was the invasion of teenagers for a couple of days ,I just like a little more quiet while eating my eggs in the morning
Breakfast was good,excellent coffee. Omelet chefs were wonderful. Happy hour was nice, staff in the restaurant were friendly and efficient a.m And p.m. Rooms, very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and in a nice residential area. We admired the homes on our daily walk to the metro Staff everywhere in the hotel were nice and friendly

We noticed that the common areas in the last two floors of the hotel (probably due to the large heated open area, the huge glass ceiling above it, the sun coming through the glass ceiling during the day, and because of the fact that warm air rises) was much warmer than those of the lower level floors. We did not measure, but we are guessing at least a temperature difference of 5 degrees C. This was uncomfortable when walking to and from the elevator if you happened to stay on one of these last two floors.
The hotel is at an excellent location, in a safe neighborhood, in walking distance to Dupont Circle, Georgetown, and Kennedy Center. We even walked to Blues Alley. Although it has a large number of rooms, there was never a problem of locating a clean and empty table during breakfast hours. The breakfast had a large selection in the open buffet and we enjoyed it a lot. The hotel also provides complimentary drinks in the bar area after 5:30 until 7:00 pm. We are extremely satisfied with the Hilton quality in our suite which had everything we asked for. Highly recommended.

Cost was over 2 times normal rate because of Inauguration. Overall, a great experience, just overpriced for the event. That is supply in demand in action!
Wonderful Experience during President Trump's Inauguration! King Suite was perfect! Loved the oversized suite. Definitely, First Class accomadations!

We wanted to extend our stay and the reception desk told us we have to go online and book a room ourselves as they are unable to do so. It is a bit weird to have an employee at the reception but have them unable to actually receive guests.
Excellent breakfast, nice, spacious room. Super clean with much attention to detail.

Breakfast got a little monotonous after 6 days and more healthy options would have been nice.
Clean, large and comfortable rooms. Spotless throughout. Great pool and great location, 20 mins from airport and between 2 metro stations. Nice restaurants aplenty within 7 min walk. Free drinks and snacks each evening a nice bonus. Great stay for exploring DC

Breakfast was very basic in my opinion.
Location - very close to a couple of metro stations; Room - very spacious for a family of four - But: strong draft coming from the front door / not sure how often the room got hoovered during our stay and we had to turn off the fridge during the night because very noisy; Breakfast - I believe it could (and should) improved. Very little choice of cereals and fruit (eg. if the fruit is not in season it shouldn't be offered) - poor selection of fresh pastries.

Nothing in particular, we love this place
Wonderful location, walking distance to many good eateries, charming Embassy Rows and Spanish Walk, beautiful setting of the room which is clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast and omelette were great, staffs were nice and polite. We felt safe, at eased, comfortable to stay there. Will get back if I stay in DC again

Food was cold. Repetitious.
The location was excellent to all museums and other tourist attractions. The breakfast wasn’t the best. It was to Repetitious, and always cold. They should change It up every other day. Get better equipment To keep the food warm. The coffee was excellent!

Not much of view from window. But what do you expect from location.
Every thing and everyone was wonderful. Clean rooms comfy beds. The sofa bed was exceptional. Best in my 50 years of visiting hotels. Staff was helpful and smiled.
