United KingdomThe hotel charged me twice and pretended they didn't, even after showing them evidence. My company had to raise a dispute with the bank to get the money back. Looking at the reviews, it happened to other guests apparently. They simply don't seem to care. The hotel itself is a good 4 star, absolutely not a 5 star.

KenyaThe hotel is due for touch ups. There is a disconnect between the restaurant and the rest of the hotel (Rooms, lobby etc) other than that we still enjoyed our stay.
The restaurant serving the breakfast was the highlight for me. Very tastefully done. The food was very delicious. I would definitely stay here for the restaurant experience again.

We ordered truffle fries and a cone of dried out matchsticks were presented at our table. Definitely reheated!!!!! Sent back and a new portion presented. Our dinner in the restaurant was lovely. ‘DUANE’ our waiter was definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ He was happy, passionate about his role and a credit to your ‘Doyle’ brand!!!!! He’s definitely a keeper!!!!!! Our room was very clean and we felt that these people are ‘Top Notch’ who tend the rooms!!

MexicoHowever I couldn’t sleep one night because the windows are not fitted correctly and ina eindy night the sound produced by the filtering wind the room was unbearable. It was only windy for one night, but one sleepless night makes a big difference when you are there only a few nights. I was combining a work visit with a family celebration, thus needed as much energy and sleep for my stay. :( The staff were helpful (they sent maintenance staff in the middle of the night) but were unable to solve the problem. Nor would they offer any compensation for a sleepless night.

United KingdomWhile the location of this hotel is excellent and the images of the rooms and communal areas looked promising, the reality fell far short of expectations. Maintenance appears to be a significant issue here. Upon arrival, I encountered broken blinds and a window in the bathroom that let in both light and a chilly breeze during showers. Despite being shown several alternative rooms, all had damaged blinds and faulty toilets that continued to run water after flushing. The staff acknowledged the ongoing blind problem, hinting at broader maintenance issues throughout the hotel. Both the bathrooms and bedrooms felt outdated and failed to meet modern standards of luxury. Weak water pressure, insufficient storage space for toiletries, and the inconvenience of a shower without a door were notable drawbacks. Noise proved to be another major concern, with old windows allowing excessive street noise into the rooms and thin, flimsy doors contributing to corridor noise. Overall, my experience left much to be desired. Despite its five-star rating, this hotel fell short of expectations, making it one of the most disappointing stays I've had in recent memory. I would not choose to stay here again.
