Loved the Eliot hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the location was perfect for our trip to Boston. We had a suite room for 3 of us (my husband, my daughter and myself). It was a great size and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It would have been perfect if there was a lounge to relax in.

Very comfortable beds and room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff- especially some of the doormen.

Loved the hotel’s location anchored at one end of Back Bay and access to the riverfront, the doormen (he’s on the website!), the tasteful decor (without too much outdated stuffiness). The staff was polished and friendly, and loved being able to check in and out electronically (though they are very serious - though polite - about making sure you’re aware of the checkout time! ;-). Just remember that it’s an older hotel, so we could hear the young family next door with the boisterous young boys. But in general, we didn’t hear much during our visit.

The breakfast was pretty average and they don’t do other meals. There’s no communal sitting area.

Lovely rooms with very comfortable beds. Excellent location near the subway and in a desirable area.

We enjoyed a nostalgic visit to Boston. We’d last visited 34 years ago! The Eliot Hotel didn’t disappoint. The reception staff & doormen were amazing. There isn’t really a restaurant for breakfast within the hotel but very close by.

We only got to stay a week!

Comfortable luxury, attentive, welcoming and friendly staff. Lower floor suite was what we asked for and this was very quiet, daily maid service kept everything neat and tidy, bottled water provided each evening.Close to local amenities and trains, Uber always a keystroke away 👍

The pillows leave something to be desired. Bruh my husband and I woke up with kinks in our necks. And the pull out sofas are not comfortable, even for two slender teen girls.

The location is amazing, as is the classic design and decor.

Nothing we didn't like. The only minor point is that the only bar is attached to the restaurant, which gets full, and there is limited seating at the bar.

Staff were excellent and very accomodating. Room 704 is double aspect with great views. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Visited Boston for husbands birthday. The trip was great, made even better by our stay at The Eliot. Fantastic location. Buffet breakfast very much recommended as is the Japsnese restaurant attached to the hotel. Complimentary cookies on arrival were lovely.
