We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesBathroom had strong moldy smell, which also seeped into any linens and towels; had to always keep the door closed to prevent the smell from coming into the living area. Would like the H/C unit to have Auto function, so fan shuts off automatically when desired temp is reached (don't always want air blowing on me while I sleep). I could NOT use my VPN when connected to the hotel WiFi (I'd like to keep my emails and other personal dealings, well, personal).
Location was great for my needs; I could walk into downtown and get public transit easily. Room was quiet, toward back part of property; and well-lit with outside light when shutters are opened or repositioned to your desire.

United StatesThe exterior opening doors - yes I know it is a motel - were less than ideal. The motel sits on the corner of a very busy intersection.
The proximity to the train station made it very convenient as we had a departure the morning after our arrival. The Flamingo reflects pride of ownership. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bed was excellent.

United StatesI could not get the TV to work. No elevator so I had to drag my heavy bag up the stairs, the proprietor did offer to carry it for me. Would have been nice to have a box of facial tissues provided.
Cleanliness of the room was very good. Towels were nice and fluffy. Bed was comfortable. Most of the outside noise quieted down by 10 pm.

The staff is super helpful, I had a problem with the room lock and they took care of it quickly. Nice places for breakfast just on the other side of the rooad, specially 100 years old Greenlees. Spacious work desk. Good shower. Comfortable bed.
