Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI accumulated some trash during our stay and since unlike a normal hotel where we might have had a routine housekeeping I didn't have or was made aware of where I could dispose of it. Now this was just a minor inconvenience. The many positives on our stay clearly outweigh this one negative.
Everything went well. We particularly liked the "contactless" check in, the privacy and the secure password access.

United StatesThe "alternative" guest entrance 😒 Just replace the elevator. It seems like it's stuck regularly. It really puts a damper on the entire stay. The rooms aren't disgusting (the shower is very close), but they could use a DEEP cleaning once in a while. The corners in the bedroom are super dusty. The shower is small - install a shower head that detaches so people can rinse properly. Also, it would be lot less gross with a thorough cleaning.

NorwayAll was excellent. It does not have normal TV channels (I could not find them) so you need to use google chrome to mirror your apps.
Big room with plenty of space for the family. Facilities are properly taken care of. Nice location (close to city center, supermarkets, etc.) It offers a microwave in the common area if needed

IrelandVery noisy with what sounded like a train/truck/plane constantly running outside our window. One of our beds creaked like I’ve never heard a bed creak before - with absolutely every movement. Air con was welcome however blew straight at us making it uncomfortable at times but not that bad
Location to attractions & downtown. Room was really big. Beds were big. Linen was crisp & white. Toiletries were great. Shower was running cold but within an hour of contacting Sonder this was all sorted

United StatesThe only downside was having to stream all tv..easy for us but may not be for others less tech savvy.
Sonder was a new experience for us. It was very clean and close to everything. I really enjoyed using the app to find places in the neighborhood. We will definitly look for Sonder properties on future travels.

United KingdomElevator was not working, thus Lounge not accessible. Some people entered the room while I was in a meeting, without notice. Shower was terrible, dirty and hurts your feet. Entering the building is only done through their app, but it didn't always work, once I had to stay in call with them for 21 minutes to get me in. The room is very noisy, both internally and externally (no sound isolation from the streets). Room is older than photos advertised.

MalaysiaUnfortunately prior to and until the last day of our stay, the elevators were not working at all. We had to carry 4 pieces of luggage (some over 25kg) up to the 3rd floor when checking in and out. This was so inconvenient and the customer support team did not know when it would be fixed! We also got locked out of the emergency exit door on our 2nd night, for no reason (it happened to other guests too). We had to wait about 20mins on the customer service call before they were able to reset the codes and we could enter. Also, be wary of booking this place during Pride Month - it is very difficult to enter and exit the building during Pride concerts/parades since the location of this place is in Philadelphia Gayborhood.
We got a lot of space compared to our New York stay, and the place is well equipped. There are some shared areas (lockers, microwave, heater areas) and a drawer for additional supplies for your stay if required (the unit itself is very well stocked too). Bathrooms are nice and clean, and the duplex suite we got can actually accommodate up to 4 pax if needed. TV is huge and functions well for casting from your mobile device.

United StatesThis business model is exactly how NOT to do things. The disconnect between Booking.com and Sonder has ruined my chances of ever reserving another Sonder property.
I have communicated with so many people, perhaps countless BOTS. This has been a terrible experience. I warn travelers against Sonder.

United StatesThe elevator was broken and my room so happened to be on the top floor…I believe it was close to climbing 100 steps. Great if you wanted an added no frills work out as part of your trip. They did contact me via the app expressing that it was down and that god only knows when it would be back in service. So please make sure you ask them if it’s working ONLY if they plop you on the 5th floor.
Smack dab in the middle of the Gayborhood which would’ve been great if I celebrated Pride over the weekend because this location is literally in the center of the festival. Walking distance to just about everything. Reminded me a bit of the east village in NYC.

Czech RepublicThere are two reasons my rating is low. First of all the elevator was not working, which can happen but it was not repaired during our whole stay (5 days), since our room was on the 5th floor it was not great. The worse thing was the door lock was not working properly. We got into a situation where three different guest groups were standing in front of the building at 11pm and we werent able to get inside for almost an hour since non of the codes worked. It was horrible. If it was not for someone going out we would be probably standing there until this day. Since there is no contact number on the door and the wifi is not working outside and we did not have the internet in our phones there was nothing we could do at the moment since there is no staff in the building at any time. For the price we paid for the accommodation I would expect better service.
The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet even when it was really noisy outside.

CanadaThe staff on the ground at the property were challenging to deal with and unhelpful in advance even when I called with concerns regarding the elevator not working due to my mobility issues caused by an injury and we difficulty getting in and out of the building using the access codes as did other people staying in different rooms.
The only thing that I liked about this property was the international team that continually tried to help me through the app and when I phoned the international help desk line. The responses and attempts at help that the employees gave through the app and the phone line were the only bright spot when it came to the short stay we had at the hotel. Sadly, regardless of what they tried to do or the help they attempted to give us, the team on the ground at the Arco were very unhelpful.
