Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNo closet, no place to hang anything. Absolutely NOT WORTH the high dollars they charge!! No pictures on the walls, no chairs to sit on. A desk, a chair and an old/vintage looking trunk that has no purpose! Pretty disappointing!
Location was great.. Can walk to eat.

United KingdomTiny double bed compared to empty room space. Issue after issue found from no closing restroom door (and transparent!) to waiting 10 min for shower hot water + other 10 min regulating to reach water temperature stability to instable internet connection to AC making a strange noise all night to being in the window facing the front and hearing all drinks pass by. Avoid
Comfortable bed and large room

IrelandThe hotel appears to be under construction, which was not advised. I had already stayed in other hotels in Miami for the same prices, and this was completely different. There was no nice 'atmosphere', no social areas e.g. restaurant, bar etc. There was a 'room' upstairs where you could sit, but there were no facilities and nobody there at any time I passed by! So you may as well have been in your bedroom! I had to give $100 when I checked-in (although I had already fully paid). I didn't have to do this in the other hotels. Luckily I remembered to get it back! My first room had a noisy outdoor air conditioning item opposite my door and I asked for a quieter room. The second room had the same thing beside my door! I gave up. I think my room might have been a disability room? The bathroom was very uncomfortable. Especially the shower. And quite dangerous. I almost fell during my first shower. Afterwards, I put one of the towels underneath my feet while I was showering. In the morning, we had to go out the door at the small reception, and into another door for breakfast. No good coffee - the worst coffee (and breakfast) in the hotels I had stayed in, in Miami. Overall, I would definitely not stay there again. I made a very bad choice - but somehow with the pictures online, I had imagined it as different. In the other hotels I stayed in, in Miami, there were swimming pools, bars, restaurants, friendly reception areas, beautiful books to read, games to play and computers to work with.
To be honest, there was nothing really that I liked about this hotel. See below.

CanadaThe room was smaller than the pictures showed and the window was extremely small. There was no actual door on the bathroom just a sliding glass door, so made it a little awkward to share with another couple
The property was a good location, only 15 minute walk to good restaurants and 10 minute drive to the Port of Miami

DenmarkFitness enter was essentially one treadmill and one bike. Besides that, the restaurant that was advertised was closed and also the rooftop/bar was closed during the entire stay. The hotel seemed dark and abandoned, so not a good feeling at all and definitely not value for money!

United KingdomI arrived to valet my car but there was no valet attendant there, and the valet took up all of the spaces in front of the hotel so there was no place to temporarily stop. I ended up parking one block over. I complained to the valet when he got back, but instead of fixing his error of blocking all of the parking spots (which any decent hotel should know not to do) by taking care of my car, he asked me to move my car. If you charge customers $45 a day for valet, they expect you to do the job properly. In addition, though the hotel seems have been recently refurbished, the attention to detail in construction is distinctly lacking. One can't take a shower without flooding half the bathroom because the drain and shower curtains are put in the wrong place and the slope of the flooring in the bathroom is in the wrong direction. Also, the choice of faucet was completely inappropriate for the sink basin, so one can't wash their face without whacking their face against the faucet.
The location in downtown Miami is very good for business meetings in that area. The room was clean and modern.

United StatesVery late check in , their message specifically says guarantee check in time. The reception attitude could be better. Saying “Good morning” goes long way and it is free. The bad sagging was the worst. Woke up with back pain . I wasn’t the only one in my group.
Big rooms renovated not too long ago . No carpeting for someone with allergies.

United StatesLocation and the dating of the rooms and property. For location I think I seen 1 homeless person for 1 non homeless person (1-1 trade off) literally outside and around the hotel. Also I didn’t like how dim the entire hotel was, almost pointless of the lights. The room was alright, the bed was stiff and the window view was of a buildings rooftop that had rusty metal on-top of it. Ended up leaving for a new hotel after a couple of hours.
