We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Location of the hotel was perfect for us. Rooms were clean and the staff were all very friendly. Restaurant served lovely meals and had equally friendly/welcoming staff.

CanadaAlthough it cost almost $250 per night, the view of the room was to a terrace junkyard. I was very disappointed with it. The room also was very basic and the bed was very small. The worst was the breakfast. There was hardly anything; the staff didn't care and flies everywhere.

United StatesI didn't like that I was paying for a four star hotel experience but I did not receive a four star experience. There were no amenities at this hotel - no pool, no gym, no hot tub. I'm unsure as to what makes this hotel a four star hotel if they have no amenities - they also didn't have a hotel room that was four star quality. There were no tissues in our room - what kind of hotel doesn't put tissues in their rooms? It was an outdated room technology wise as well.
The hotel was very beautiful. The staff was very helpful and kind. I really liked the look and feel of the hotel in general. The room we were in was small but still cute. The bathroom in our room was super pretty - the black tile was a very good choice!

United StatesWe were locked out of our room for a couple hours, which was very problematic. My wife is a diabetic and her insulin was locked in the room along with a large sum of cash. Also, communication with the person trying to unlock the room was impossible, because of a language barrier.

Wasn't greeted when we came in the door or acknowledged anytime throughout the visit. Our TV didn't work and we were placed in a handicapped room across the way. I will never suggest a say at this establishment. Photos of the place are very misleading.
