Transparent glass wall between bathroom and bedroom. It is uncomfortable especially for ladies.

I woke up at 5am from the traffic outside as well as the treadmill being used in the gym on the 3rd floor. I didn’t realize also how far I would be from restaurants. I wanted to order food and it didn’t give me much options since the hotel was in an odd location.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was perfect after a long day. The staff was able to hold my luggage after check out until my flight.

While it was very walkable to everything, there were a lot of homeless people around the area. Be mindful that the wall to bathroom was glass so there is no privacy. It was VERY loud at night - room was NOT soundproof as mentioned in the description and traffic noise was terrible with loud mufflers and buses.

Water was coming out below the shower door when showering. The window in our room didn't offer any view.

Our room had a bathroom woth a glass wall which there was no privacy when you want to use bathroom or shower. Did not know this when I booked it. Lol otherwise the hotel was clean and good area for staying before a cruise

This was the unique experience to stay in historic building, which was a national bank back to its original. I enjoyed the architecture and design, as well as hotel location and reception. Special thanks to Daniel, he helped me to choose the most adorable places around to explore. I would definitely recommend this hotel - clean, comfortable, high quality place.

Historic downtown hotel. Easy access to shops, metro etc. Good breakfast in the restaurant, $25 all in. Very nice lounge on the second floor.

The surrounding areas were scary, we did not feel safe walking nearby. There was no water in the room.

The room was comfortable, pillows and mattress were perfect! It was also very clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly.

The staff was not supportive at all. There were two bottles of water in the room which turned out not to be for free. That was shocking, definitely not a 4* hotel not to offer free water. The answer of management is that free water could be found on the web page, but if you start coughing suddenly you can not start searching on web page to find free water. That was stupid.

The location and the hotel building itself were very nice.

Like other reviewers, we also noticed the people next door at the shelter/hostel, however no one bothered us. The area does feel a little deserted/run down, however it is just a short walk to areas that are more populated - I would not have walked alone however my partner and I felt safe to walk as a couple. What I did find interesting is that this is the only hotel I stayed in during my trip to North America (8 hotels) in which you did not require a room key to access and use the elevator. This felt particularly unsafe as there was no security for the hotel and the valet worker was observed to be deep in conversation with people the few times we walked past - meaning we felt like no one was engaged in any type of security in the hotel.

This room was large and very clean. The bed was large and also very comfortable. On arrival we engaged with a younger man who was incredibly helpful directing us to restaurants and shops nearby. Having read reviews about the foyer of the hotel I would have to say that I didn't find there to be anything wrong. The foyer is clean with a couple of seats, there's a front desk that is staffed 24/7.
