    Nothing to dislike!!! Loved it!

Convenience: The property was conveniently located near all the Niagara Falls touristy things to do like the Observation Tower, Goat Island, Cave of The Winds etc. I love walking so I opted to walk but if you prefer to take and Uber, it’s only $8-$9! Lodgings: I stayed in the Burd Room and I loved the bed. It was soooo comfortable and I had my own orovate bathroom just outside the room. I felt safe because my room door had a keypad lock. My room had an AC so I stayed nice and cool during my late July stay and I was able to watch Netflix from the owner’s Firestick. The home is on the national registry of historical places which made me appreciate the home so much more! It was practically like a mini museum, with so many historical documents and items on display belonging to James G. Marshall and his family. Many of the original furnishings/decorations was seen throughout the house which made it so special! The hostess, Cherrish, went out of her way to ensure I had a good time. Communicative, great recommendations on things to do and the sweetest person ever! I took the Amtrak up and asked her about the walk between the station to the home. She ended up picking me up and also offered to drop me off at the end of my stay!! Brealfast was delightful, with so many options for beverages, a yogurt parfait to start and then a french toast personal casserole with bacon. There was also complimentary snacks, coffee, tea and water. This was my first experience in a B&B and this has set expectations high going forward. Highly recommend anyone to book here. You will feel right at home and I enjoyed meeting other guests. I cannot wait to come back!

My favorite vacation stay to date. Very close to The Falls. The history of the house was really nice. Sit or swing on the porch in the evening and early morning for coffee, enjoy the sounds. Oh the Details of yesteryear. Breakfast was exceptional. Top notch presentation and quality breakfast. My wife said the quiche was the best she has ever had, and she really enjoys quality food. Very personable.

Cherrish was a wonderful host; as I had to leave very early, she provided me with a delicious breakfast for the road. The Marshall house is a unique place, comfortable but with the charm of an era we know only from books and movies. Close to the Niagara Falls, so a great spot for visiting them.

There isn’t anything we didn’t like. However, I will say that this is a historic house with lots of creaky old house charm. If you’re not into historic homes, this might not be the stay for you.

The breakfast was so wonderful, very obviously made with love! It was fun getting to know the other people staying in the b&b as we all sat around the table together for breakfast every morning. We were provided with a sweet and savory course, along with coffee, tea, and juice. The spread was awesome.

The neighborhood was gorgeous but the surrounding area on the American side was not great. 1812/10 on the Canadian side.

Was a historic house with minimal spoop. Big fan, 11/10.

The downsides were that I could only walk about 1/2-1 mile away from the B&B by myself without feeling unsafe. Also, that our bathroom was detached from our bedroom.

Breakfast was outstanding. Staff was super. Everything was clean and comfortable and relaxing. Within a mile walk of Niagara Falls.

TV did not work. No ice or ice bucket. The hot water would not turn off. Could not find soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, window would not close. Gift was asked for handyman🥴.

The second morning breakfast was excellent! The house was beautiful and very clean. Those hostess was nice. We felt safe.

Not many choices on the television and there should be instructions on how to use it along with passwords. Also, a phone contact for the innkeeper would be helpful.

I do wish that I had a preference to book a room with either a shower stall or a bath/shower combo. It certainly wasn’t a deal breaker, we just prefer the combo. Not altering the floor plan of this historic home is important, so we understand that some rooms have smaller baths! :) The mattresses could be updated. Ours was a little firm for our liking. Pillows and blankets were soft, and perfect.

The food and management of this gem are unbeatable. The value of your plated breakfast and the amenities, including snacks and coffee, make this bed and breakfast a true value. It felt like home away from home!

We didn't like not having options for breakfast. It was whatever they made. I personally am not that fussy, but my girlfriend, for example, doesn't like her eggs runny or quacamole and that is what was our 1st morning breakfast. I made the suggestion to Mary Jean to maybe have 2 or 3 options to choose from. She agreed and would mention it to Cherrish.

The owner Matt met us upon arrival as he was outside doing some yard work and was very welcoming. We did not have the pleasure of meeting his wife Cherrish. The Marshall house is a piece of history and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. It had literature to read about its history and also some artifacts from its history. Except for the bathroom being a little bit too small, our accommodations were comfortable.
