Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesRooms on the left side have a view to an ugly neighboring building. The area is quiet but there are no shops, coffee, restaurants, etc. within close proximity.
Well designed throughout with in-room thoughtful details such as, night light in bath, USB-C connection for charging next to bed, good lighting, nice shower with detachable hose. Hotel has its own parking at a very reasonable price. Beware of other downtown LA hotels who charge $50 to $60 for overnight parking! Good central location for downtown area.

United StatesPerhaps add a microwave to the lobby.
This property was super clean, safe and secure! They use essential oils in the entryway and lobby. It smells so wonderful! I felt very safe staying here. The only way to access the property is with your key card. It was the most pleasant stay!

United StatesThere was truly nothing we didn't like, but I will mention a constant quiet low hum (made by the outtake fan?) One of us did not even hear it, and the one who did hear it did not find it a problem, i.e. earplugs were not needed. I actually hesitate to mention it, because it was not a problem, but it was there. That said, The Metric is a real gem. We wish more hotels in the U.S. were like it!
A safe, secure building. Very quiet and clean. Sleek, functional decor that reminded us of stylish yet practical places we've stayed at overseas. Windows that open and also a quiet, efficient air system. Comfy bed and good lighting, both natural and artificial. Secure, easy parking for a reasonable fee. Great location for activities in Downtown LA but out of that fray in a residential neighborhood. Complimentary locally baked pastries and hot beverages. Easy and convenient checkin and checkout process that saved us time. We hope to stay here again and will recommend it to friends and family.

United StatesNothing. it was great
The Metric was in a perfect location. We stayed here for a night to watch the Lakers game and it was very convenient. There's secure parking in a gated lot and we felt very safe. The free breakfast in the morning included chocolate croissants, ham/egg/cheese croissant, scones etc from a local bakery. There's also a really nice coffee machine (free) in the lobby that also does chai, hot coco etc. The room was very clean and bed was comfy. I'd highly recommend staying here!

United StatesThe only suggestion I have is adding a microwave to the main lobby area on the 2nd Floor.
This property was super clean and very secure. It was also very quiet which I appreciated as a business traveler. There were two gentleman hosts that were incredibly kind. I also appreciated the free coffee and pastries each morning. Excellent stay! Highly recommend!

SingaporeWould be nice to put the water dispenser outside the lobby so guests can refill water outside office hours. A microwave and a laundry facility would be awesome, but I can live without.
The space is modern and clean with decent space and complete room amenities. The common area had free baked goods, drinks, water and a vending machine. Location is great, there's a nearby bus stop which is convenient because I didn't have a car. Staff were friendly and helpful.
