Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ArubaWell there is little one can do about the noise caused by others. I hope that they implement the noise penalties. It would help some be considered. On the positive side you meet other travelers and hat good conversations.

United StatesAlso if you offer free coffee at least have real creamer. Not a bit expense for a much better show of the offering of the hotel. Just pennywise pound foolish.
The hotel needs to find a way to enforce the mandatory quiet after 9PM otherwise you don’t get a full nights sleep which is all you’re really paying for.

The staff was really helpful, the rooms are good for 1-2 night solo trip. The location is great. The common space is fancy.

United StatesDidn't have power in the pod for a full night and the restrooms kept on running out of toilet paper. Also a toilet was clogged twice in the span of two days. The pod and bed were so short. While laying in the bed my head would touch the wall while my feet would hang off the bed and touch the other side of the pod (I'm 5'9"). Anyone taller would be miserable. Also nothing to dry your hands with in the bathroom.
Overall decent and safe space. Appreciated the private pod, women's only floor, easy locking doors, common area, showers and kitchenette.

United StatesIf you are taller than 5'5" you probably won't fit in the bed, or the blanket, at least the heater was good. The cabins are very small, you have to be easygoing and not mind too much space. It was fine for a weekend, I wouldn't stay longer than that though :)
It's in a good location, the common areas were nice and the staff were nice too, it's perfect that they have a floor just for women, it made me feel really comfortable.

United StatesWhile I loved my stay at Nolita Express, there were a few downsides worth mentioning. Although the property was mostly clean, some guests weren’t very considerate and would leave hair and other messes in the showers, bathrooms, and kitchen. It would be great if the cleanliness rules were more strictly enforced. The no-noise rule was also not consistently upheld. Most mornings, at least one person’s alarm would go off incessantly until they were finally yelled at by multiple girls on the floor. This became quite annoying, especially for light sleepers. Surprisingly, the loudest people in the building were the cleaning staff. They slammed doors every single time they went in or out of a room, which disrupted the otherwise peaceful environment. Honestly, the guests were far more polite and respectful than the cleaning team. Despite these issues, I still loved the overall experience and would stay again, but I do hope they address these minor inconveniences to make future stays even better.
I absolutely loved my stay at Nolita Express! It truly felt like a home away from home. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, with beautiful decor that gave the space a warm, inviting vibe. The kitchen was fantastic—well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals. I especially appreciated the little vanity room on the all-girls floor, which made getting ready so convenient. The staff at the front desk were incredibly sweet and wonderful, always friendly and eager to help. Their positive energy made the stay even more enjoyable. I also loved the sense of community among the guests, who were consistently respectful and polite. I will definitely be staying here whenever I need to be in NYC again! One small note: if you’re tall, I recommend booking one of the larger rooms. Otherwise, you might find yourself touching the walls when lying down. All in all, Nolita Express was cozy, charming, and beautifully decorated—definitely a place I look forward to returning to!

United KingdomI stayed for 8 nights and maybe slept 4-5 hours each night due to noise. The walls are beyond paper thin. They do provide ear plugs and eye masks but I think it’s best if you bring along noise cancelling headphones
The atmosphere of the property was amazing, really chilled out and jazz in the evenings on certain nights. The staff were very friendly and was super easy to check in and out.

South AfricaThe mattress is so thin I slept on metal, but I guess the big thing I didn’t like was the lack of a ceiling. I feel like it wasn’t communicated. People would take phone calls at 03:00 regardless of the signage. The bathroom cubicles are TINY!
I liked the vibe, and most things were as communicated, which is really good! Got what I expected for the most part! Love the kitchenette, it helped so much on nights that I didn’t want to walk around to get food! I appreciate the tea and coffee to warm you up when you come in.
