It was pretty loud until late at night, so consider bringing earplugs. All in all good value.

There could be more heat or thicker blankets. The walls were not the most sound-proof.

The house is cozy and my stay exceeded my expectation. Little details tell me this is very thoughtfully run - The name signs on the door, the free lockers, and the maps were all amazing. The staff and volunteers were so responsive and helpful. The common areas were spacious and helped me meet some cool people who were attending the same conference in the city.

Too many stairs. I’m physically limited and there were no indications my lodging would have stairs in the adverts. Also, getting in to park was easy. Getting out…not so much.

I liked off street parking. It had clean and appealing curb side appearance. It was located close to the University Hospital and also many places to eat. It was also easy found by delivery.

Finally I turn on the TV and they have various channels like Netflix and Hulu. I watched Netflix movie Mea C. With Kelly Rowland it was good I didn't see the ending part I had bad stomach pain. Then I went to bed I slept good last night.

I just felt uncomfortable sharing the washroom but I guess that comes with the cheap price. I lived in private rooms and they were good.

The manager was really kind and overall the hostel was great for the price. I was there for a conference at OSU so it wasn’t walking distance to university but you can definitely cycle there. The cycles are free. There is also a free campus bus that you can catch from very close to the hostel.

AC ran all night in dorm 3 so was very cold.

The pressure in the toilet seemed weak because I had to flush a couple of times to get things down. I also wanted to use the hot tub one day but was too anxious to message anyone.

I liked how clean it was in the room and having Netflix and Prime to watch. Breakfast options were nice if I needed a quick bite and I liked how the rules were laid out. I also would've loved to borrow a bike if I knew sooner but didn't until my last night.

My only complaint if there is one that the hallways are narrow, so traffic can get congested when moving around. This is not a concern as everyone was very nice and we all could accommodate ech other.

This is a quaint little place that is very relaxing to stay at. I could not be happier for the price I paid to stay there. The rooms and lounging areas were clean. There was everything I needed to make a good home cooked meal and prepare my breakfasts. I prefer to make my own, however the continental breakfast is a nice option to have with plenty of options. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and services provided and even found me a prospective job that I could apply for in Ohio. Thank you for the information. Next step GET IN THE HOTUB lol. In summary the Wayfaring Buckeye hostel is a great place to stay whether business or pleasure. I will definitely stay again.

Very nice location, easy to get to by bus, easy to walk to nearby places. The contactless entry process worked very well. Room was clean and the place was not overcrowded at all, actually had a room to myself.

Nothing you can about it, but as a 6 foot tall woman getting into the attic dorm was challenging. Halfway up the stairs, my head touched the ceiling. But I had to duck and climb. But it was on the cleanest places I had been into in a long time.

I love the price! I love the location, nice older neighborhood and the cleanliness and the hospitality of being able to have a little coffee and a little breakfast in the morning. It was so clean! I am 61 and have stayed in hostels before in London and Amsterdam. The only thing that could be improved is having larger lockers. Considering that most hotels start triple the price of hostel and they are not even that clean. (Shudder shudder), this was a great value.

Great Hostel in the university district of Columbus. Free parking was provided and the university inclusive the football stadium and the basketball arena is not far away. The host was very friendly and the provided breakfast was great.

I do wish there was a dedicated girl dorm. Make Dorm 3 a girl dorm! 🥰 And that there were more windows open to air out the place. Could be a bit cleaner yes but it’s doable and I’m a germaphobe so anyone wondering you will be ok.

I like that Robbie is quick to respond and flexible with checkin and luggage drop off. I also like that they have juice for breakfast which I didn’t realize so was a great surprise and laundry 🧺! I also like that everyone is either a traveler, student looking for housing or seem to have a purpose and respect for the space. Easy check-in, space to cook and store food in fridge and big bins for dry foods are convenient.
