United Stateshotel staff while friendly didn’t go out of their way to make our stay the best possible. housekeeping didn’t run regularly even though we paid full price for a room and anytime we needed something I had to hunt someone down because calling the front desk was useless. also the restaurant that was supposed to be convenient at the pool/beach wasn’t serving food most of the week we were there only drinks at limited hours.

United StatesI needed a pen and paper to take notes in the morning and if I’m going to pay close to $300/nt I would expect a small pad and something to write with in the room. Simple things mean a lot. Breakfast Buffet: cold hard biscuits. We are in the south. Please provide good biscuits that’s are not over baked and hard. I’d also suggest using smaller serving containers for the hot food. That way they don’t fill it up with eggs and bacon and sausages and then let it sit out and re-cook it’s self and become tasteless. Use smaller and fill it up more often, forcing them to cook fresh food more often. Service was great and personable. Thank you
Location, interior design, friendly and happy staff, well kept. Checked in late after a rough day of travel and craziness. Checked in and the nice young man at checkin was so nice and accommodating and he had such a good humor he made me smile and laugh and lifted my spirits. It takes a good personality who can “read the customer” and respond. He was delightful. Sorry I didn’t catch his name but I am sure you can find out. He deserves a pat on the back.

United StatesThe room/view was not worth $400+. The pool bar ran out of cocktail mixes the day we got there and then overcharged us for drinks. The pool area was dirty, dirty cushions and had trash on the ground from the night before. The front desk staff/concierge staff didn't acknowledge us as we walked through the lobby throughout our stay, no one was manning the valet (though the staff that were called up to help were very nice). When I brought up the issues with the drinks being overcharged, I had to repeat the circumstances multiple times, they left me to wait at the counter with no direction of what they were doing or how long the wait would be. I had to ask another staff to find out what was going on and why it was taking so long as we'd already checked out and needed to be somewhere else. Pretty sure we could have had a better or at least similar stay at the Home2 Suites by Hilton next door for $200 less.
Convenient location, the cleaning/housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly throughout the hotel and did a great job on cleaning our room. Housekeeping and cleaning staff were great about speaking and greeting you in different parts of the hotel.

United StatesCheck in was supposed to be at 4pm. we arrived at 4:15 and our room still wasn’t ready. We had to kill time for almost an hour till it was ready, which was very frustrating because we were only visiting the island for one overnight and had a busy schedule. We were not compensated for this delay although it was mentioned when we asked about our room delay. Our room was fine, but wasn’t as nice as we expected. The cafe was out of sugar for their coffee, which seemed pretty strange and again disappointing and inconvenient.
The location was great. The terrace was beautiful.
