Trying to find someone to valet park our car was very difficult and we even called the hotel for someone to come help.

The area is very busy, no room for valet parking, when I booked my reservation the valet was listed for 79 dollars a night they only honored one night at that rate. My wife stepped on a nail that was inside of the carpet. I would probably not visit this hotel again.

Coming back to the hotel after dinner and drinks, the hotel was surrounded by cop cars and large pools of blood in front of the building. There was also blood on the revolving doors and a security guard had to escort guests to rooms from the elevator; however, we weren't given information on what happened.

I wish there was a pool. Also the spa needs updating. Also way too pricey for a spa and a sauna and steam room not to be present or included. I say that as a massage therapist of 6 years. Also tell hotel guests what is included in their stay. They charged me full price when I had up to $75 in credit off (spa snd food) and had to get it refunded to my account.

When we came in, there was a VIP party on the ROOF. The staff only tend to that group, it turned the lobby into a backlog of guest trying to check in. Our room was dirty. But we were too tired to even care at that point. Later, we went to the state and lake restaurant. We actually had reservations, and the staff seemed dumbfounded. The host seemed flustered and sat us at a table that had half full, used, glasses. We asked to move and they sat us at a broken table. I never considered myself picky, but these are basic considerations for guests.

I wouldn't stay again. The area is tops though. The valet guys were really friendly and helpful.

Part of the reason we chose theWIT was for the rooftop restaurant and bar, however, we were disappointed with the limited and restrictive access to the rooftop, even for guests at the hotel. Access to the rooftop restaurant and bar was controlled by a hotel employee activating the elevator to the top floor. I'm a 61 year old male, and on a Saturday night when my girlfriend and I (both guests at the hotel) went to the rooftop to look around, we first had to get permission from the hotel manager and were issued a wristband, and then my girlfriend's handbag was searched and she was scanned, and I was frisked by a hotel employee. Frisked and scanned to enter a restaurant and bar at a hotel where we were paying guests! That's ridiculous.

Super noisy from both the corridor and the adjacent room. I could hear ladies speak loud in the corridor at 2am and shouting during more than 1 hour during the night in the bedroom nextdoor. When I tried to call the reception the indications (dial 8) didn't work. Terrible night

the room was small and noisy, because of a shared door with a stranger in the room next to us. the furniture and decor were not pleasing to look at, and in the way because of how it was laid out. gigantic heavy metal lamp blocking the window, a random marble table with a huge heavy concrete statue on it.. and only one chair to sit in??

quality of breakfast was excellent, location was great, and appreciated the option to store our luggage at the front desk.

Tub with no window views as specified ( I have a tub at home in the bathroom..)no robe, the lamps all flickered or didn’t work at all. Plug in to charge devices did not work and only the one??? Gimme a break. Had to have Darnell downstairs charge my laptop. This was a special personal getaway for me and the lack of special touches I expected were really disappointing. On the flip side, the food was good and Darnell at the front desk was helpful to me. In the end, I was offered comped mini bar snacks as a result of my troubles. Upon returning home I was charged 60 dollars. This was all so frustrating I didn’t even pursue it as I had had quite enough run around. Not the Hilton I was promised. It won’t be in my preferred hotels anymore.

theWit wanted to charge me $11.99 per day for Wi-Fi, despite paying a nightly rate of $380. I was told only Hilton Honors guests get free Wi-Fi, so I proceeded to give them my number. They didn’t want to take it and said it was information they don’t take from guests who book through a third party. Horrible service at this hotel.
