Nose and the coffee was horrible in the room. Breakfast was not ready on time but that’s fine I didn’t have kids with me.

I heard the person beside me checking in and they asked him why he was in Alvarado, thought it was weird but brushed it off until they asked me and were persistent that I told them. Kinda felt like a breach of something like I’m just getting a hotel for a night.

Woke up and found roaches in the room, coffee table TV table on the AC. We informed the manager of the next morning and he’s apologize. Said they were coming to spray today.🙈

Shower head is awful the water pressure coming out was terrible, our curtains were hanging off so a lot of light came in very annoying. For the price those things were important. Tv is small in the room. And the pull out couch my kids could feel springs and was complaining.

Taken back by how dingy the place looked inside. Dirty carpets and elevator needed some attention. Bed sheets didn't look like they had been changed...did smell or feel clean.

Check it wasn’t really smooth we had trouble for our door key to work . I didn’t appreciate how two of the staff bargain in into our room didn’t bother to knock just open the door . First it was our keys since it wasnt working my partner mention it to the staff while he had to leave for an appointment and the staff came to check but I was inside the room Then we called for late check out for 11:30am we had I believe a manger literally open the door didn’t bother to knock good thing I had the lock on the top close . I just didn’t appreciate that they apologize but they shouldn’t be doing that .

Not up to IHG standards. Toilet did not work properly, had to remove the lid to flush. TV/Remote controller was difficult to use. Had to move a small looking eye to connect the remote to the TV. Sun darkening drapes were ripped and taped. Trash in hallways. Rooms not cleaned, no phone in one of our rooms. Indoor pool chlorine smell was overpowering. Broken equipment in small gym room.

Socially, there's nothing to do in Alvarado I had to get my card scanned probably 10 times even though I was there for a week and it should've been done to begin with and stayed that way. They were doing a lot of maintenance probably because they are getting ready to make big improvements There's bird shit all over the place outside the hotel

The Hotel gave out a receipt to an unidentified person with my personal and confidential information on it without my consent after I requested them to send a copy of the receipt to the email address on file and when I called them after the fact the Lady name Shona was very rude and unprofessional not to mentioned talking about HOOK UPS AND MY WIFE AND I’M NOT MARRIED, this was her justification for breach of confidentiality of my personal information and privacy and I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION FOR HER ACTIONS

The access roads to the hotel. We arrived after dark and had a challenging time finding the entrance to the hotel car park. Even the next day during the daylight it was still confusing. Better signage would be helpful.

The breakfast was just about the best that I have ever experienced.
