Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesMore bedding options would have been good. I prefer cotton sheets, not microfiber (for the futon).
Our tiny cabin was very cute and had everything we needed for a quick trip to Portland. The location really can't be beat! Very close to lots of good restaurants, the Laurelhurst neighborhood, and easy to get downtown if needed.

United StatesIt was perfect, there was nothing we didn't like :)
Our tiny house at the tiny digs was so cute and cozy! It felt very private inside, yet very close to everything. We stayed for new years eve night and the owners gave us an extension until 2pm so we could relax after a long, fun night. That was so generous and we are so appreciative!!

United StatesThe courtyard was a nice touch but it could use some plants to make it more inviting
The nice little touches like the coffee and creamer, the pouch with emergency toiletries, umbrellas for guests, the cozy decor, the great shower

United StatesI can't think of any cons.
The attention to detail was unbelievable. Each tiny house has a theme and they go all out following that theme. The beds were comfy.

NetherlandsI'm really not a fan of shower curtains in small showers, although I don't have a good suggestion for a better way to keep the rest of the tiny bathroom space from getting all wet.
These tiny houses are adorable. We were a group of 3 couples traveling together and we each picked out a tiny house. We loved the themes and the cute little courtyard too. The spaces inside were adequate for the most part, and we were able to access storage lockers to put our luggage in that we weren't using during this part of our trip.

United StatesI didn’t like that we had to park on the street. In both tiny homes we were able to feel the vibration from big trucks driving by on the main street.
Super cute themes, thoughtfully furnished and creatively constructed. We were 4 individuals and rented 2 tiny homes - both were absolutely adorable! Would love to come back and try new tiny homes. Also a great area in terms of having access to markets and restaurants.

CanadaThe ben was only accessible through a quite steep set of stairs and the upstairs area was close to the ceiling, so overall just a bit difficult to navigate.
The rooms are really fun and the common area was nice. The room was clean and had a few nice amenities like a french press. We really enjoyed the location, it seems to be a great part of Portland with lots of good restaurants. They had a good guide on nearby things to do / eat.

United StatesThe house could use a few more utensils :) and maybe a pancake flipper. The kitchen was easy to work with though!
We loved the theme of the house, the quiet neighborhood and the privacy of the gated house small community and the design of the rock and roll house we stayed in.

United StatesUnfortunately, the outdoor ambience was degraded by temps of 102 degrees for 2 of the 3 days. Would have helped to have an ice machine on site.
Walking distance to several really good restaurants, convenience stores close by for water, morning coffee, etc.

United StatesThis was a good introduction to what living in a tiny house would be—like a game of Tetris every moment for 2 people. Not for me! BUT, that being said, we enjoyed staying here. Each of the 12 tiny houses has a different theme and decor scheme. It must’ve been exciting to plan and buy all the items for each place. If Portland hadn’t been having a horrible heat spell it would’ve been nice to sit out in the commons area with fellow guests, play games, etc. Location is great to sample the many restaurants along 28th.

United StatesI didn't love the the "tip your cleaner" envelope...
The location was great - lots of fantastic restaurants/coffee spots to walk to and it was easy to get to/park around. Our particular Tiny House was great - it was warm initially but we opened all the many windows and all the nice breeze came in and cooled it down. The bed was comfortable and the toilet/shower was great!

United StatesThe book was a little outdated with the wifi names and there’s like 5 options for wifi and only one of them worked The envelope for housekeeping gratuity was minorly annoying considering I was asked to wash dishes and take out the trash — I also don’t think many people carry cash anymore
The host shared information easily through text and it was very easy to find the place and park. Right next to a plaid pantry convenience store I like the common areas gives you a chance to see others I like the free coffee and tea it was nice to sit outside in the morning The decor down to the hooks on the wall was cute The pillows were SO comfy

United StatesWe stayed in the Rock & Roll house (Elvis themed) and loved all the details! It's also fun to see a community of other creatively themed tiny houses. A lot of thought and care went into each one. We had a very cozy stay. The neighborhood is very walkable with restaurants and bars a street over (including a few breweries, food truck park, and great gelato). Also a short drive from a large nursery.
