Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The vibe, the gathering space in the lobby, the room was very clean, water pressure for shower was great, the toiletries (body wash, shampoo, conditioner) were very nice. Also, the fitness center was very nice. Breakfast was good.

Clean rooms, fun and vibrant colors in the main lobby and hallways, loved the various seating areas and the pool table. Great setup for families.

The EV chargers were unreliable. Even when they worked, I usually had to walk to the lobby, ask them to power them up, then walk back to the car to plug them in — or walk back to inform staff that they still weren’t working, and maybe move the car to the other pair of chargers, which also may not have been working.

The hotel felt like I was trapped in an IKEA showroom for teen bedrooms. The cheap furniture and hard surfaces everywhere in our room didn’t feel comfortable. The beds and bedding were ok, but the environment felt cold.

The room was a little smaller than expected but it wasn't a problem. There were not cups in the room but there were a bunch in the lobby by the free coffee and tea.
The staff were so nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of working outlets throughout the room. Everything was very clean and there was a big TV with cable.

The bathroom shower door had pink slime on the bottom. They did not honor the Booking.com total at time of booking. They charged more money and after we left they tagged another 75 to the total. There is an awening at the exit that doesn't have gutters and it drips condensation all over. I exit the building with clean hair and that filthy water falls on my head. Not a good value for what they charge.

Bed and pillows uncomfortable, I woke up with a backache. Whole place like an echo chamber, no carpet anywhere to dampen noise. Room was very small compared to other places I stay. Too spendy for what you get! Not the Hilton that I'm used to. Stick with what you used to be known for.

Clean, clean, clean! Everything you need, nothing you don’t. Sheets felt like bamboo, bed was comfortable, with no hole in the middle. All hard wood floors, no carpet, therefore the room smelled lovely. They even had a little nightlight in the bathroom, which we appreciated. Can’t say enough about the staff… they were all so polite, nice and had a sense of humor/ very humble. We would definitely stay here again.

Shawn at the front desk was terrific! We were able to check in early, he was very welcoming, helpful and ensured a great visit. All staff were friendly and helpful. Great customer service, great breakfast, clean and stylish rooms.

I was surprised at the size of the room. I was not told when I checked in initially that if I wanted maid service, I was supposed to notify the front desk immediately upon checking into our room. I like a closet that has walls and doors, not hangers hanging in mid-air over the refrigerator, and some hooks on an opposite wall.
Breakfast was decent, but nothing to write home about. The scrambled eggs were the best FAKE scrambled eggs I've ever tasted.

We did not realize what the concept of Tru Hotels was. It was very Eureopean. Which we get, just didn't realize that's what we booked. We have traveled extensively in Europe and have stayed in similar hotels, usually near airports and rail stations.. Not our favorite hotel format.
